Great quality connectors and crimps
Very useful set for any hobbist electronics buff. So useful for making up battery connector cables and harnesses for arduino and Pi projects. Great rachetted crimps. Good value and good quality.

Good kit, though do you really need it?
For the money this is an excellent tool, and with care you can produce excellent crimps. If you haven't tried crimping JST connectors before, however, be warned that it really is fiddly and it's easy to mangle the connector or produce a bad joint that soon falls apart. I'm not criticising the tool, I just think it's inherently difficult. After reading some web resources, including about the materials used for cheap JST connectors, it's made me think twice about the whole business, especially in applications where the connector will be hidden inside a piece of equipment that's expected to work reliably for many years.

Good value for money
Tons of connectors, absolutely great value for the price. Crimpers feel well-built and fairly sturdy.The two major negatives are the instructions and the gigantic hard to remove sticker that takes up the entire front of the box. The instructions don't explain a thing, I am new to using this tool for this operation. There's tons of youtube tutorials however, so easy to get to grips with after a while. Definitely a knack though.The sticker has to be the hardest sticker to remove I have ever encountered and it takes up the entire front of the box, not the smaller sticker pictured. I tried acetone, isopropyl alcohol, vinegar, and finally oil before the oil and lots of scraping with a card finally removed it. My chemical engineer partner tells me that means the glue is latex-based. Just dropping this here so anyone else who tries to remove the sticker knows without to much exploring: use oil and spend 10 minutes scraping.Good value otherwise.

Good quality kit
Kit has many connectors and 800 female pins included (not counted them!). The crimper feels smooth when in use and holds the pins well while the cable is inserted.Once crimped the cable is secure and the crimp is folded over nicely ready for insertion in your chosen connector size. Can't imagine the kit is something I will use every week, but will be essential when replacing a PCB fan or other connecting component to a circuit board.

Good kit with a lot in it
Crimper feels solid and works as expected. Shame some of the bits mixed up in the tub but not the end of the world.

Crazy fiddly
Bought as it supposedly works with JST PH 2.0. Kit only came with XT's - Bought separate PH connectors - Could not get this thing to work correctly - there is a different style crimper - I would suggest avoiding this unless you work as an optometrist or jeweler with the dexterity of a teenage soldier Ant = 2 interweb shopping points out of 5 awarded
