I have other that attaches to the A/C vents on the car and I realized that the clips would block the cold air leaving me with no A/C on one of the vents. This one you can readjust the position of there you want you phone and won’t block the air. Easy to install and has been very stable so it was not easily moved. Holds the phone really well and had no issues with the phone holder. When removing it is as easy as installing. Do recommend this one if you are looking for a phone holder for your vehicle.

The magnet is strong enough which keeps my phone secure.I bought a second one for my passenger for my guest or to hold a second phone on long trips. I hope they keep them in stock

I love the form factor and the ability to swing the device around and above my dashboard if I need to. I actually use this for Natix which is an app that lets you earn a bit of crypto by capturing video of your drive. And to do this, I need my smartphone to peak over my dashboard for the camera to get a clear view of the traffic. There are very few magnetic vent mounts that do this. Most notably, this UGREEN mount and the uber-expensive Peak Design vent mount.The UGREEN vent mount has a mostly plastic construction except for one critical part, the hook, which is made out of metal. This is unlike the Peak Design vent mount which has a plastic hook despite it being more than 4x more expensive. There is a certain simplicity in the UGREEN mount which is not present in the Peak Design mount: there is only a single knob to retract the hook and to adjust the angle of the arm.However, the addition of the ratcheting height adjustment on the arm is a mixed blessing. On one hand, it makes it easy to adjust the height on the fly without having to loosen a knob, but on the other hand, it also has a tendency to ratchet back down if im pulling the phone away to detach it from the mount. That is due to the mount's very strong magnetic strength, coupled with the relatively weak retention of the ratchet adjustment. I would say it has 3-4x the magnetic strength of the Peak Design mount. Another drawback of this ratchet design is that at the ratchet point, there is a wobbliness to it that you can't get rid of, no matter what knobs are tightened. This is due to the extra space in between the ratcheting teeth. My only solution then would be to superglue or Bondo this space so that the ratcheting mechanism is glued into place, making this adjustment no longer possible.Aside from my gripes with the ratcheting system, my only other complaint is that there is no secondary attachment point at the bottom like with the Peak Design which would help it feel more sturdy by distributing the force across 2 vent slats instead of 1. It's possible that Peak Design may have a patent on that particular dual-attachment point system since I don't see any other manufacturers that do it.

For me this mount works very well. Holds a big phone like the s24 ultra, paired with an ESR case. Phone doesn't move around at all.

I purchased this car mount a few days ago, and it is perfect. Easy to install, it is adjustable so your phone doesn't block the vent. The magnet is strong so your phone doesn't move. I've tried two others, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how well this works. Seriously, buy it!

Very sturdy connection. Most vent-mounted things like these are flimsy and fall but this holds on to the back of the vent fins and is really sturdy. However it wouldn’t work with really narrow vents. Easy to install and holds the phone well as long as you have a MagSafe case or no case

This product has potential because the magnet is strong. However, it's cheaply made. As soon as I tried to tighten the piece that holds the magnet broke.
