Brings me back to my childhood, you know, before everything was plastic!
I remember when all milk and cream came in glass milk bottles NOT plastic. I know, the plastic milk bottle material is supposed to filter out milk harming UV light but so does keeping it in the fridge where it belongs! In the olden days, when I was a child far too long ago that I care to admit to, the milk bottles came with a formed paper lid. When you popped it open you kind of sort of had to just set it on top. Half the people I know either would mold foil over the top or even just left it in the fridge without any cover at all (perish the thought!). So this has a nice innovation in that it has a screw on top. BIG improvement over the glass milk bottles of my childhood. Of course all the plastic ones come that way now. I like that there are measuring lines to indicate how much is in the bottle, handy for some food prep applications. In case you didn't notice, milk prices have gone up more than a NASA rocket ship. So to make my budget stretch a little better I decided to graduate from half gallon bottles to gallon bottles. Only problem is that I don't drink THAT much milk before it expires. I thought about freezing the milk (YES YOU CAN FREEZE MILK!, You just have to shake it up once it thaws again and it's fine, I'm a sous chef so I know what I'm talking about). But the problem with freezing it is that you have to put some in one container and some you leave in the gallon jug. I tried just saving one of my old half gallon milk bottles but that didn't work out because it's really hard to clean old milk off the inside of those bottles. I know, I tried and I'm just not that skilled with a bottle brush and you really can't see inside if you got all the old milk out and you REALLY need to get all the old milk out because the bacteria will contaminate your new milk and you do NOT want that unless you are inventing a new variety of cheese. So I now have a new plan A. I just got a gallon jug of milk saving myself about $2 over buying two half gallon jugs. After making sure I cleaned these two glass bottles out thoroughly (always clean new food containers before using, who knows what little gifts the factory might have left you?) I poured half the milk from the gallon jug and put the rest between these two bottles. That works out perfectly since these are each one quart each. I now keep one of these in the front of the fridge for frequent use and the other in the back when the first one is used up. It takes about a day in the fridge (never thaw at room temp, I'm a sous chef and I know what I'm talking about!) to thaw out so plan ahead. When the second bottle is half empty it's time to thaw the remaining bottle. I'm going to save about $52 a year on milk so these will pay for themselves in under four months. Finally, the pour spout comes in very handy unless you like to drink right from the bottle.I HIGHLY recommend this item for it's intended use, especially if you miss glass milk bottles from the old days.

Easy to hold one hand.
I ordered these 32 ounce reusable milk bottles to replace some larger ones that I use to own. The larger ones cracked because the water I had inside them froze solid while they were inside my refrigerator. I had filled the bottles all the way up to the top with water and then pushed them all the way to the back of the fridge. They were probably in the back of the refrigerator for at least a week untouched because my refrigerator doesn't get that cold on the inside. It's amazing that anything inside could actually freeze solid.Unlike the larger glass milk bottles that I had that froze and cracked, these are smaller. They fit in one hand very easily. The outside of the bottle has some raised ridges that are used for measurements. Those raised ridges give the hand something to grip on to, so the bottle is not slippery when it's held in one hand.Even when filled with liquid these 32 ounce glass bottles are fairly lightweight. I was planning on using these bottles to store filtered cold water in the refrigerator but now, because they fit in my hand so perfectly, I am thinking about using them as drinking vessels instead. These glass bottles don't leak when their lids are firmly screwed on.When I look at these milk bottles, I am reminded of those older movies where the milkman would come and leave bottles of milk on the doorstep. These 32 ounce glass bottles look a lot like what I remember those old-timey milk bottles from the movies looked like. This two pack of 32 ounce glass milk bottles is out of my price range, but, I like that the bottles are easy to grip and to hold in one hand. I think that these glass bottles have a lot of character. Because of that I will rate them five stars.

These will keep your milk longer
I find glass bottles keep my liquid dairy longer. I only wish the caps are not plastic.

Finally Can Store Milk and Tea on Top Shelf!
YAY - I have only had space in my refrigerator for one gallon of milk, in the door. The gallon jugs are too high to fit on the top shelf. That means I can't buy two gallons at the same time to save money, and I have to use up all the milk before buying the next gallon, often going a day without milk (a morning without cereal). These Dwbligt glass bottles FINALLY solve that problem! They fit on the top shelf with a 1/2" to spare, using up all the space efficiently. And because the two bottles combine to hold 64 oz, I can buy the next gallon before running out!My parents and grandparents had milk delivered in glass bottles, and I remember their stories about having to get the bottles in quickly (from the front porch) before the milk froze and popped the top off. No problems with these bottles and their modern caps that include a silicon ring for a great seal. The ring even has a clever little tab you can pull to remove and clean the ring separate from the bottle top - a small but very appreciated feature. There is an orange pouring spout included with the two bottles. This is a great idea for putting a bottle out for a family meal and reducing possible spills when the kids pour their own milk, or juice, or tea...The bottles have the wonderful retro/nostalgic look of the classic milk bottles. It may seem like a small thing, but being able to put 32 oz bottles on the top shelf of the refrigerator really is convenient. I recommend these as good quality bottles at a very affordable price!!!
