Good budget option with full features, but requires knowledge and/or research for full usage
8 Ports SFP Switch ManagedThough not without its own issues, I am giving this 5 stars for one VERY specific reason: PRICE POINT vs Feature setDoes this thing have any documentation? NoIs there a website to get information? NoAre there firmware updates? Also (apparently) NoIs this easy to use? Depends on your knowledge set and willingness to "just figure it out"Is the fan quiet? NO. ABSOLUTELY NO. ITS SUPER LOUDDoes it route? YESIs it cheap? HELL YESLook, sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes that means a sacrifice in quality but from my experience so far, this thing actually works AND provides a lot of features. I believe the quality I am sacrificing in this case is the documentation and support, not the hardware itself. Fit and finish is absolutely fine too. The chipset (RTL9303) is fairly robust all things considered. I replaced the fan inside with a Noctua (12v for anyone looking) to quiet things down, that helped a LOT in my homelab setup, though I did need to use an adapter to connect the 2 pin header on the board with the 3 pin connector on the fan.For anyone coming after me, if you are experiencing intermittent packet loss (~5%, more or less depending) and you have already done the normal troubleshooting with cable and/or SFP+ model replacement, try changing: VLAN -> VLAN -> Port Setting -> Mode from Trunk to either Access or Hybrid, depending on your needs. I am not sure why this chipset appears to be losing some packets for me using Trunk mode, but both Access and Hybrid have resolved my issues.Would I like more update firmware? Yes. Would I like some documentation? Yes. But the reality is I am getting FAR more features for a WAY better price than I would be for some of the other offerings on the market.

First review
Pros :Very complete administration interface, agregation works fine.Compatible with 10Gtek optic cables.Good chipset, Realtek : RTL9303Cons:design is not rackable.Very noisy, but this not a problem for me as this device will go in a server room, and as SFP+ to Rj45 transceivers can heat up, it is probably better for stability than passive switches. No power button, you have to remove the cable to reboot it.No manual at all, you have to go throughCurrently unresolved issue :I feed internet to this switch via a SFP+ to RJ45 transceiver, but internet stop being routed after 20 minutes and require physical rj45 disconection and reconection to get another 20 minutes.Havent been able to contact support about it.Tested and working :Connection with 10Gtek cables to other SFP+ switches, and servers with link aggregation ( 2 links = 20Gb + redundancy interconnection between switches and server )Doubt :Switch system information already reports 70% memory utilization with only 4 ports active...Will update the qualification once the issue with the SPF+ to Rj45 issue of dropped connection is resolved

No documentation
While this switch looks quite capable, the documentation leaves much to be desired. There is basically zero documentation, especially for the CLI. I wanted to figure out how to change the management IP address in the CLI through the serial console, but this was in the VLAN menu, and the route menu was elsewhere. Just trying to see the IP address was a major pain in the butt when using DHCP. I eventually found it. I think this could be a much better switch if it just had some halfway decent documentation. The document that came with it did not match the hardware at all.

Good switch, but needs instructions!
I bought this switch because it's a managed switch. However, the switch did not come with any good instructions for accessing the web interface. I was about to return it until I realized that there is a sticker at the bottom of the switch that gives you the ipaddress and credentials for the web interface. The interface is simplistic but offers all of the features I needed - specifically my NAS has dual 2.5g ethernet ports and I was able to bond them easily on the switch.

Not reliable and do not last
Working fine for couple months then it started cause problem with slowness issue, especially download from internet or transferring speed with other computers are so slow, my speed test with iperf shown couple mbs download speed only. I have reboot and reset couple times, works an about an hours and issue keep coming back. I have remove it from my network.
