This disabler works folks!!!! I have been using for a good week now, my 5.3 is purring away at 550 RPM. Shame on you GM, you have a great engine, but added that junk, engine destroying DFM crap! I have a 2021 Sierra and have had a bunch of needless anxiety about the DFM destroying my engine and electrical system. The 2021 and 2014 5.3 years, I understand are the worse off. No more rattling lifters and all the crud affecting my charging system; when I would forget to use the dash DFM disabling switch!!! These engines are designed to idle, that ever so needed oil lubrication and continuing charging voltage is CRITICAL. Almost makes me what to go to Ram or Ford.

This product is wonderful the delivery was fast it dose what is advertised it keeps my 2018 gmc sierra in v8 mode the whole time. My shuttering gone from it going from v4 to v8 every time you hit the gas i have full power of my truck my truck turns off the power to the device after about 2min of my truck being off some other vehicles might not do that it just plugs right in and go's i have no problems with this product at all its small my leg does not hit it when getting in and out.

This thing is awesome! Easy plug and play. I have a 2016 sierra 1500 with a v8 5.3 and it was acting weird. I bought this device and it drives way better in just V8. It stays in V8 and gives me the performance I need, when I need it.

Awesome investment. This thing just plugs right in and works perfectly right out of the box. Oddly enough my MPG went from 14.3 to 17 mpg. Plus you avoid the damage to push rods that is a known issue with GM V8 engines.

It works as advertised. Only reason for the 4 stars is I believe they can scale it down some and make it more flush with the dash. Other than it sticking out it keeps full power to the ground.

I don’t review my purchases often, but this thing actually works. So far, driving the same as I typically do I have noticed less than 1mpg difference in fuel economy and I get to use full V8 power all the time. Well worth buying this product or similar ones that do the same thing.The function lights are not too bright either.

Plug and play! Nice packaging. Performance is good. Haven’t towed anything thing yet to truly test the shifting and AFM part. Everything else seems good.

It does reduce gas mileage. Most of the shuddering is gone. The green light blinks. I assume that means it’s working. My Cadillac stays in V8 mode.
