Needed to level out and compact my back yard for spouses wheelchair, this is handling to leveling great.. I shouldn't have waited as long as I did. Love it, and so does the spouse.

The product is easy to assemble, and well-built. It is lightweight for easy handling, but you'll end up using a bit more force when leveling grass. The rollers work for grass and tend to make the material spreading more uniform. However, this product does not work so well in just soil. The rollers don't turn much, if at all, and it basically becomes like the competing products with two more static pieces of metal to spread soil. The soil piles up against the vertical portion of the leading the trailing edge, making it very hard to push or pull. Now, with a little patience and perseverance, you can learn to use it for spreading and leveling soil only. It's better than a traditional landscape rake but not a magic leveling tool. You end up being the magic!

Really good! Lawn leveling has always been a chore, but with this new leveling rake, the efficiency has more than doubled. The rake surface is wide enough, and the edges are well polished so that they won't scratch the grass. The handle is the right length, and it's effortless for adults to use. It's very smooth to push and pull, and it won't get tangled even if the soil is dry. After leveling a piece of land, looking at the smooth and beautiful lawn, it's a special sense of accomplishment. This is one of the must-have tools for gardening enthusiasts.

Handle lacks strengthWhen using this leveling rake, you will find the weight of the sand or dirt paired with the weight of the rake head to be too much for the simple and feeble handle to withstand. Pulling the rake head causes it to flip up over the sand or dirt. Pushing the rake causes the handle to bend under strain. Continued use also requires you to retighten each section of the handle as it tends to come loose over time.I do not recommend this product.I have not returned this product as I feel the effort to take it apart and package it back up is too tedious, and it's easier just to toss than the nearest dumpster and cut your losses.

Does the job, but not great

This is our first time buying a lawn rake. After receiving it, first impression is the weight of the product. It is heavy so it must be a more reliable and durable rake comparing to those flimsy rakes. I wouldn’t want to buy a really light rake considering the kind of work it will be doing. Unless it’s a special texture but then the price would be much higher. After opening the box, the rake does look like a good quality one. It is easy to install. I did it in less than a minute. They give you 4 links which makes the rake too long for me. But you don’t have to use all four. I take one out, and the length is perfect. But if you husband is doing the work then you can add all four. We like it so far and will see if it is really durable like the weight indicates. No complain so far.
