Purchased for my husband who was experiencing severe joint pain, locking finger joints and unable to close fingers to make a fist. It is reasonably priced and easy to work into daily lifestyle. He uses it several times a day for 10 min at a time. It makes low sounds as the compression massages your hand, but it is not disruptive; i.e., we don't need to increase the TV or conversation volumes to be heard over it (LOL). It is lightweight, and he can walk around while wearing it as it does not slide off. It fits comfortably over his large hands. He was pleasantly surprised to feel relief from pain on the first day of use, and increased flexibility by the next morning. Before 7 days had passed, he was able to make a fist again and his fingers no longer locked up. At his follow-up appointment, his orthopaedic doctor confirmed his hand had improved a good deal and the injection was no longer recommended. My husband beamed and attributed his progress primarily to the effectiveness of this machine. He will continue to use it to "work out the kinks" in his hands as needed.

Got this fory husband as we aren't sure if he has carpal tunnel, arthritis, or nerve issues. However he said it seems to be working nicely. He said it's nice and hot (unlike others that claim they get warm and dont). He said the pressure seems to nice as well.

This hand massager is ok, but it definitely doesn't replace a hand massage by a person. It has great features but the only thing it's missing is rollers. It only squeezes/puts pressure on the hand which is good for people with circulation issues, but it doesn't roll to give it a true massage feel. I use my hands a lot for a lot of DIY projects involving tools so my hand is constantly achy and the only relief I can somewhat get from this machine is when I face my palm upright and to be squeezed but it still doesn't help 100%.

At first i thought the product didnt work. However, you need to use all your strength in order to turn on the massaging part. So, it does work and feel great....you just need extra strength to turn it on.

I was desperate for some relief from throbbing pain in my arthritic thumbs (I also have carpal tunnel) I read reviews for the more expensive models and they weren't great - no hot enough, not adjustable. This very affordable massager has different settings and gets very warm. Best of all it makes my poor hands feel better. I highly recommend this model.
