I recommend replacing the CDP6800 power supply with this power supply
I recommend replacing the CDP6800 power supply with this power supply, that is meant for the large CDP8800 pump. If the CDP runs too long it over heats and damages the power supply. The CDP pump power supply does not have overload protection. Moving to this larger power supply gives the capacity for the CDP6800 to run longer, without the risk of overdrawing the power supply.

Great replacement power supply for the CDP 6800
My CDP 6800 pump runs for over an hour every day with the RO filter. The original power supply for the CDP 6800 is under-powered and heats up. I've replaced it twice before finding out that other people are using the CDP 8800 power supply on their CDP 6800 pump. Hopefully it'll last longer than the OEM power supply.

Works great on my 8800 pump
Works great on my 8800 pump. Original supply (17 yr old smaller wall wart version) still worked but the pump would stall when my pressure tank was near full. This solved the problem.

Quality of the service is indeed lower than the quality of the parts
Seller refused to sell me another transformer rather than work out the issue because I did not leave positive feedback due to a failed unit. Seller insisted there was an issue with my system because it failed in 2 days and was designed to be intermittent (which it did run only intermittently). my system has worked fine for over 3 years before this and was spec'd out and put together by a quality company. I said in the review it was possibly due to a one off issue with the part. Not only are the parts low quality but so is the service.

Power supplies died prematurely
I've had 2 of these power supplies for my 8800 pump. Both have died after running less than 1 year. I wish I could find a more reliable alternative.
