Barbie Collector # B3425 Queen Elizabeth

This is an exquisite doll. I bought it as a souvenir since I just played Elizabeth in Timothy Finley's "Elizabeth Rex" and my costume was inspired by the same dress that the doll is wearing. Because I am not a collector of Barbie dolls I took it out of the box to display. Wow, talk about packaging! She is clearly intended to remain IN the box, since not only were there 8 taped in metal twist ties holding her to the back, the dress itself was SEWN onto the bottom. It took about an hour to get her out with no damage to the doll and minimal damage to the box. I know that any collector is cringing because I destroyed the collector value. But since I did, I can tell you that she is truly magnificent. Worth $500? I don't know...,but I am thrilled and I remember my best work in theatre (to date) every time I look at her. Just amazing workmanship.

This doll is a great rendition of Queen Elizabeth and is more of a collector doll than a child toy. Mattel pulled out all the stops on this doll and it is top of the line all the way. It would make a good heirloom doll to pass on to future generations. The box is very good too.

This doll is truly one of the most detailed hand-crafted Barbies that is made by Mattel! Her detailed bead work is exquisit.I would recommend to any Barbie collector to invest in this doll.

Unfortunately I had a family member spend $1080 on this doll believing it was the recently deceased Elizabeth Windsor 😬

For all you history buffs ,the outfit is an excellent copy of an outfit she wore.If you look on line you can find a painting of Elizabeth in this outfit , right down to the rose pin and fan.They copied the fabric print perfectly.
