Perfect tools for burnishing edges!
What a great idea for burnishing! I just got back into leatherwork after a 30-year hiatus and stumbled upon these while browsing Amazon. I use my dog toenail Dremel and it's the perfect speed for this purpose. The green tips are like a super fine sandpaper and they are perfect if your edge has some imperfections and for shaping. The wood ones burnish to a nice smooth finish. I use water to treat the edge first, then use the Dremel. The box is really nice for storing them, too. I couldn't be happier with this set!

work's great for me
bought these on a whim, turns out they are really nice, the rubber bits are a fine grit that works great on seams and the wood bit burnished it to a high shine after sanding. I use them on a dremel with adjustable speed and dont spin them too fast. you can also use a rubber eraser to clean the sanding bits after use but go easy.....all in all glad I bought them you will be too!

Having a sander and wood in one kit is great.
Fit my Dremel no isssues. Need to figure out the speed/size that works for your leather. I would take a trim and test it out on that first. But So much better than just using your hand.I do recommend getting a stand for the Dremel or a way to prop it up that you can turn it on without it moving. Then using both hands with the leather for more control.Yeah you can also clamp up the leather to something and then use the dremel on it. I guess I would rather have it more eye level and not at table level when doing this.I like to have the leather taught in my hand more then the other way, but both works.

Great burnishers!
I really like these burnishers. They fit right into my little hand held rotary tool. Burnishing edges by hand can really be tough on my body. These rotary burnishers make the job so much easier! The green burnishers are more abrasive and are good for tough leather with rough edges. The wooden burnishers put a nice, clean, smooth finish on the edge for a professional look and feel. So glad I added these burnishers to my leather craft toolkit—wish I had started using these long ago. Overall a great set of burnishers for different thicknesses and roughness of leathers. Highly recommended!
