For such a good price I had doubts it would be a good port cask whiskey but how wrong was I. Best value Port Cask whiskey I've ever had. Very smooth and the port sweetness comes through. Really impressed so I bought another one. Most Port cask whiskies are over priced but not this one is great value.

I've never preffered the Tamnavulin brand because there double cask was frankly underwhelming for me and the regualr marketting of cheap booze which was chill filtered, coloured with no NAS didnt really appeal to me. Now this came out a few months ago and I decided to give it another shot. I am quite impressed by the sweet, malty, nutty speyside flavours here with a hint of port berries refreshing the pallette. Again it doesnt come with any of the tags mentioned before but the liquid does deliver an easy drinking experiance at an affordable price. To me its a staple speysider which won't dissapoint newbies and connosiours alike, I have just placed my second order!

This is a nice drink, the port barrels make a big difference. It is smooth and mellow but not in the same league as the top, expensive brands. But then, you wouldn't expect it to be. For a pleasant nightcap it is fine.

A whisky has a strong flavour with mild smoke but not too sweet when drunk straight.The whisky is smooth and pleasant to drink, with notes of soft toffee, almonds, and tangerines.Great value for money and one of the best Speysides they can buy.It's a nice single malt whisky that's easy to drink and a regular drink.
