Excellent taste but overrated and it took forever to arrive - would never buy it again because of the hassle and came semi melted

Cons were the price and filling lacked flavor. Apparently it's authentic, from the packaging. The chocolate was real and very good. The texture of the pistachio filling was amazing BUT it had ZERO TASTE. You literally can't taste the pistachio, or anything else besides chocolate. It's just a texture thing. Not worth the money.

I ordered these Dubai chocolate bars on New Year's Eve and they were received on January 10. There was a problem with the order as I ordered 2 sets of 2 bars each. Only one set was sent. I contacted Carians that afternoon and they said it would be sent out early next week. One week later, 2 bars were received and Carians customer service was great!Now, onto the taste. The milk chocalate has a nice rich taste to it. The pistachio filling is very tasty and the phyllo gives it a nice crunch! I have never had Dubai chocolate before and I liked the taste. My gf otoh said it reminded her of a KitKat bar. I had to disagree with her on this. Dubai chocolate is way better than that and much higher quality.As for size, these bars are on the thick side so there is a lot of product in that package. The bars are so rich, I only indulge in a small piece at a time. When you look at what we pay for chocolate bars these days, the price is more than reasonable. Pistachios are expensive and so is shipping the product in from the Middle East. I chose this brand because it was made in the Middle East and I felt it would have a more authentic taste. I will order again.

I’ve been seeing the trend of the Dubai bars on my social media feed. People raving about the flavor and amazing crunch. I thought, I’ll make my own however I’m a bit lazy and decided Amazon would do the making for me. I live in the States and from my understanding other countries think our chocolate tastes like vomit and honestly on occasion I can taste a hint of it myself when eating a Hershey’s chocolate. However our chocolate is super sweet! In my US ignorance I anticipated this chocolate to be similar. It was not. It is very smooth, has a hint of sweetness and is not bitter like a full dark chocolate. The crunch was not very crunchy. In fact there seemed to be very little kaitafi in it. Overall, I found it unremarkable and bland. I realize it came from Turkey and would be more expensive however in my opinion the bars were quite small for the price. So, the moral of the story is, maybe I shouldn’t be so lazy and make my own next time. Amazon does have all the ingredients so no need to leave the house. One step ahead.

OK, I was being cheap. I wanted to try the famous Dubai chocolate bar but I didn't even want to pay the price when it was on sale. So, I got the brilliant idea to buy a faux off of Amazon. We'll, it didn't go as planned.First off, it was partially smashed in shipping. It didn't have the cool packaging with the ice pack. It was small, like palm of my hand small. It didn't have pretty designs in the chocolate. It didn't make a snapping sound when you broke it. The chocolate was okay but I could not taste the pistachio in the filling. It was fairly thick and I did like the texture of the filling. Just no flavor but sugar.

Delicious but too expensive. Brings new guilt when enjoying it. I haven't even touched the 2nd one yet because I'm gonna be sad when it's gone. LOL. That said, my husband doesn't like pistachios and did not enjoy this which I see as a win because I only have to share with my daughter who also loves it. Haha. They do sell these in some stores now, for instance I found them at 7-11 and Hy-Vee before. I'd say try it (because I'm sure you'll love it) but then again ....$$$$.... It's a conundrum only you can decide.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived melted and squished. Absolutely had faith in this product, but it’s a no for me. Tasted like a melted KitKat. Chocolate itself didn’t taste very natural. Filling wasn’t as crunchy as I expected but it was edible. Atleast a solid candy bar would have been nice.. not a melted one. And please note i picked this up off of my porch AS SOON as it was dropped off by amazon bc my dog went nuts hearing the delivery person. A refund would be nice.
