Wonderful, travel companion
This item worked very well during my first three days of travel through Poland and Ukraine. Then, somehow, I forgot it, and left it plugged into the train. I hope it works as nicely for the person who found it as it worked for me.

WORTHLESS
We buy these things for travel. Usually we can't test them before we leave home. Now that I'm on another continent, I don't know how to return it. Issue is, it's worthless. My previous converter with USB-B plugs has a center hole to accommodate the silver tipped prong on the wall outlet. Maybe it is a grounding plug. This one does not. This poc, does not seat deeply enough to make enough contact with the wall socket- or the extension cord. Yes, I tried every plug in the place. When I asked someone about how this could have worked, he said it might have worked for a very old outlet before the silver tipped plug coming out of the wall. He tried and assured me it doesn't work for modern outlets. So today I spent E17 to purchase something else.

I love these.
I don't have to worry about forgetting to unplug my charger for LiPo batteries. No more ruined batteries. Yeeeehhhh!I have 30 minute devices, and I, also, have 1, 2, 4, and 8 hour devices.

Not what I expected
Don’t buy it!. I bought it for a trip to Europe, the first day I plugged it in it made noise, burned my iPad charger, and the USB C connections never worked.

Great if used as directed
These worked perfectly for us in Spain. They're not for hair dryers. (Best way to solve that? Buy a hair dryer when you get there. But I digress.) For charging phones, tablets, camera batteries, and smartwatches, these were great.

Decent international power adapter
The idea behind this adapter brick is to be able to plug into any sort of electrical outlets you might find anywhere in the world, and be able to get usable power to charge your USB devices. It does fairly well at this task.First, it does have options for every sort of outlet I've ever seen... mostly. I do have an issue with the UK-style setting: it has three prongs including the grounding prong, but, the grounding prong is just plastic and doesn't actually do anything. That's fine, it isn't required, and most of the other adapters don't have the third prong anyway. However, much as in the U.S., older electrical outlets may not have the third hole available. You wouldn't be able to use this brick with such outlets, even though the third prong is useless. I suppose you could just snap it off, but that seems a shame. It also doesn't fully deploy or retract on its own via the slider on the side, you have to move it separately - not a big deal, just something to know.Note that, while the block has an electrical outlet that will accept most plug types, it does NOT transform between voltages, so you need to be knowledgeable as to where you're using it and what you're plugging in! I wouldn't really recommend using this feature, just stick to the USB outlets, which do transform the voltage appropriately.Regarding those, the four USB-A ports put out an excellent 1800 mA. There are no USB-C ports, but just about every device comes with a USB-A adapter, so you should have plenty of ports available to charge everything you're bringing along. However, while this works just fine there are other options out there that are even better and considerably cheaper, so shop around.

Does not work as advertized
I purchased two of these for a trip to Europe. The prodct feels like a quality product and fits into outlets in at least Spain and Switzerland. My issue is that the plugs don't work as promoted (and as I needed): Neither of the two USB C outlets works on one of the units and neither of the two USB B outlets works on the other unit. Unfortunately, I only discovered this once I arrived in Europe and now I am outside the product return Window for Amazon.
