Great piece of exercise equipment with a small footprint if stood on its end when not in use.
Was very well packaged. Has a small footprint so we stand it on its end when not in use.Easy to use and comfortable seat. Foot straps don’t need to be adjusted every time we just slide our feet in.The electric reader is handy to see how many you have done/how long etc and use it in conjunction with fitness watch.Only thing I’m not keen on is the foam grip as, although comfy, I don’t like the smell it leaves on m hands but I am super sensitive to smell and my husband has no issues with it.The difficulty is easily adjusted by turning the collar, which is marked up with difficulty levels.Seems there’s more than enough growth in the difficulty levels as I could barely move the most difficult! It’s smooth and we haven’t experienced any squeaks or anything either so far and it’s used at least twice a day.Be careful of the piston as it says it gets hot during use and you can feel the heat come off of it.Would recommend, a decent piece of exercise equipment.

Delighted with this
Firstly I bought one of these cheap rowing machines from Argos so nearly didn't buy this one, the Argos one went back same day as it was ridiculous trying to put it together and didn't look strong, I felt like I would fall off it.This one all you do is screw in a couple of parts, I mean just a couple, even the rubber was on the handlebars and I know some people had issues with that.I have MS and was a bit scared it would be flimsy like the one I returned but it's not. This machine really does feel sturdy. I'm 5' 5" and 12 stone, hence the reason for purchase. I felt quite safe on it, the seat is wide enough for my fat bahookie and comfortable enough. Did it for 5 minutes on the lowest setting then came off. I intend to start with 5 minutes a few times a day then build up to longer sessions. The reason for 4 stars is that the display thingy doesn't appear to be working well at all, not that I need it, maybe I haven't worked that out yet. I also don't think it's suitable for anyone much taller than me if you want a full leg stretch on the pull, maybe 5' 10" or something would be OK. I think this is the perfect machine for someone like me, disabled or mature that just wants to get fit at a nice slow pace to suit. Laughing now, when I first started to try the very first pull I thought the hydraulic thing was broken because it wouldn't move, turns out it was just at the higher setting and I'm a wimp, so watch for that one. I've used rowing machines in the gym and have to say I'm really happy with what I got for this price and having it in the house means I can suit myself when I use it.

Fantastic compact rowing machine
Really great buy. Compact enough for the bedroom but big enough to use properly. I'm 5ft 3in and there is still a good few inches to spare when I am at full stretch. Really smooth seat runner and the handlebars are very comfortable. I have a number of health issues but was desperate to get back to doing some exercise this is low impact on joints but very doable - I love it and would thoroughly recommend. Brilliant value for money.

Please buy!!
This is brilliant. Stores away nicely in the corner. Breaking a sweat nicely. Its just the right size for me. Great value for money. The resistance level is excellent.

Mixed bag
It is comfortable, light and easy to use, however once you start exercising the tube of the gas strut gets really hot and you can burn yourself if you accidentallytouch it. Furthermore,it gets really noisy and squeaky and this becomes a burden to experience. Mixed feelings on this one.

Great device for the money
I am a former oarsman now late 70's. Have spent many winter hours on water tank trainers and gym ergometers. Nothing replicates being on the water, but I don't have that option any more and just wanted a cheap and easy to store device to keep my ageing frame in some order during Covid restrictions. Looked at a number of fancier and more expensive devices before going for this one, encouraged mainly by other reviewers comments. Glad I did. What a little beaut!. Easy to set up, move around and use. I am 6ft tall with long arms and legs. For me, the seat slide is little short on the front stop and I could do with a couple of inches more forward motion on the pull bar to get full rowing stretch. That said, the angle of seat incline and pull bar motion combine to provide a very realistic rowing action. As other reviewers have commented, the strokes get easier as the cylinder heats up. I simply wind the power setting up every few hundred strokes - which also gives me an excuse for a breather. Very happy with my purchase.

Exercise for an old injured shoulder.
I am 88 and have a ruptured R Supraspinatus - from hanging one handed in my loft...... partial tear. About 30 years ago I damaged the L shoulder, same muscle. I was younger then and a very active windsurfer. Because the muscle lifts outwards I carried on but had a year's physio on the shoulder. i could still hang fore and aft.. The physio u/s really. So, this time I had a Scan and the physio had a look and gave me some exercises - after a month or two I stopped and bought the Rower. The basis was that I could strengthen the other muscles in the cuff without any harm to the Supraspinatus. It is working.I take it steady and use no.3 setting for the present. First task was to get up and control the B seat while I did so. I ended up on my back, pretty helpless!. So I moved a stool closer for support. My muscles aren't strong enough to roll over and get back up on my feet. So I have become more canny and perform within my limits. Lesson learned. I chose the Sunny because I could restrict myself to a 'fore and aft' pull, with a narrow grip, and strengthen the thighs and tummy. Some rowers need an outward movement of the elbows. I took my time choosing this machine and I am happy with it - it is in my conservatory and I can watch TV or listen to my HiFi as I exercise.'
