Amazing value and quality, buy this knife.
Honestly, I was skeptical because of the price. Once I opened the box I was floored. I have massive hands and finding a knife that feels good is far and few between, this thing fits like it was made for me. The blade has a good heft to it and came out surgically sharp. So far the edge has held up well. And let's talk about the sheath. It holds the knife securely with an easy draw. The ability to move the clasp to adjust for the comfort of the wearer is phenomenal. Over all I give this knife a solid 8/10. Your not going to find a better rig for the price point.

Looks good but needs quality control
The knife is good-looking, well-balanced, and comfortable. It's big and heavy, which is good for chopping wood and fighting Big Foot. I don't like the sheath - it rattles and has no strong knife hold. The clip slides around on the back because the screws loosen. I removed the belt clip because I don't plan to carry this on my hip - it's too long and jabs me in my ribs. I plan to keep this in my truck as a working blade. My complaints are about the slippery handle scales (they don't feel durable - time will tell) and the grind on the blade's spine. The grind is uneven, has weird nicks, and is asymmetric. It seems like they tried to round the spine, but it's more "rounded" on the right side. The bad grind will not affect the knife's function, but it shows that this low-budget knife is produced without much quality control. I purchased my knife on sale, so for the price I can't complain, but I will probably not buy from this manufacturer again.

Made in China, but one of the best values on the market.
For $30, I don't think you could do better for a new Soldier's knife.This is a "Soldier's" knife.So

Not paper cutting sharp
Big and heavy, so far so good. But came not sharp and with an uneven grind. Hope other than that there are no more issues. Field tests will show. At the end it is a budget knife. It looks a little more rough and the grip has a plastic feeling. Sheath has good retention.Update. After sharpening it properly I now have a paper cutting sharp knife. I took me some time but I can confirm know the steel has very good hardness. In real world use it also keeps its edge good. No complaints. For the price you can't go wrong. Just the right size to stay on my ATV on wilderness trips.Another point worth mentioning is the customer service of Gtkii. Contact was surprisingly fast and easy. Very positive. My new rating is up to 4 stars.

Copy of a better knife.
Shameless copy of the Chris Reeve Pacific Combat Knife. I know the Chris Reeve knife is like $300, but it will hold up far better than this copy with better steel, and heat treatment. Also it's way ro big for and EDC knife. Hard pass.

Brand is Top Shelf 9/10
My second purchase GTKiiI have now bought 4 from them. This is no different than the others. Some things that shine: Quality Control, Edge Grind Well done, mating of scales, finish, sheath, all pretty amazing for a $40 knife. This knife is very similar to the old Buck Nighthark, just beefier and larger by a bit. It is balanced, handle conforms in all the right places with no hot spots. Traction is 8/10 with the grivory type handles. I can’t find a flaw on mine, and an American made AUS10 knife of this attention to detail and finishing would be $150-$200. Nice job. I will be happy to see after my 4, what comes next. Keep the traditional styles coming !!
