Carhartt Gear B0000577 Classic Laptop Tote - One Size Fits All - Black

This tote is the one! I’ve tried at least 10 other totes and they never live up to the descriptions…most don’t fit my MacBook pro even though they claim it will. This Carhartt tote fits my laptop, a 40oz water bottle, lunch bag, and has enough pockets for things like keys, pens, portable hard drive and even my camera pouch. If you’re looking for a durable tote with lots of room and zipper closure, this is the one.

I ordered this Carhartt Horizontal Zip Classic Laptop Tote Bag to replace my worn out old bag. This bag is large and sturdy. I can fit my laptop and tablet in it with room to spare. It’s waterproof so that’s a big plus for me on rainy days. It has short tote handles only. The addition of a long strap that I could sling over my shoulder would make this the perfect bag for me. That’s not a deal breaker though.I would order it again. I recommend it.

I current use this bag for all of my work essentials. It makes walking from the parking garage to the office a breeze. My hands are free to open doors and press elevator buttons. My only con is the shoulder straps, they do not have padding on them.

This bag is pretty solid so far. Water resistant is awesome.I switched out my laptop backpack for work with this. It puts everything all together in an easier to access setup than my backpack.I’ve got my laptop, a small screwdriver kit, a box of Velcro, a hard case for some tester equipment, done dust masks, extra Ethernet cables, keyboard, my laptop charger, a console cable, my work keys, headphones, some meds, and other misc things I use. It has plenty of room for some of my other equipment when I’m onsite.It’s pretty cool. It seems durable. It’s got 2 sets of handles, one short for hand carrying, and some longer ones for shoulder carrying. I wish there was an option for a longer over the shoulder strap.

I ordered this to house my fairly expensive conference camera and speaker system. Since it gets utilized around once per month in different locations, I needed something to easily transport it in. I also needed to transport my laptop and all the associated cords and adapters with it. This fit the bill.As the Carhartt label suggests, it is a tough, well-made bag, with a thick water-resistant "600 Denier Rain Defender polyester" which does a good job of protecting the camera and speaker system. There is a separate padded sleeve inside for storing your laptop.It is fairly slim when empty but expands wide enough to hold bulky items which is very convenient.If you plan on traveling on an airplane with it, it has a pocket on the outside that converts to a sleeve that will fit over your luggage handle for easier transport. Lots of interior pockets for various cables, water bottles, etc.

Great value for the money!! Spacious bag for both a laptop and some general tools. Should last forever!
