This bar will not work on a slanted ceiling. The ceiling must be parallel to the floor, otherwise the bar would slip if a force were applied to it in the direction in which the angle rises. Also, the plates at the ends of the bar are fixed at 90- degree angles to the bar. A carpenter could make a piece that would eliminate the angle of the ceiling, but that would have to be attached very securely to the rafters to which the ceiling is attached.
