Works
The old ladder was...well, it was old and the UV had taken its toll. Its not something that you just snap together and the holes did not exactly line up, but with persistence and patience, I got it together. It fit into the old holes in the deck with no problem (something I was not 100% sure was going to happen). I now have an extra step at the deck level that was not on the old ladder...not a good thing or a bad thing, just a thing.Worked well to replace my old worn out pool ladder for an above ground pool with a deck around it.

Ladder itself is great
Ladder is great and easy to install. However, you have to buy the anchors separately. Our anchors didn't come with screws, so you may have to purchase those as well.

Supplied washers were too big-had to buy smaller ones
Seams sturdy enough. The supplied washers were too big, had to buy smaller ones at Home Depot. Make sure you buy stainless steel ones. Easy to assemble, hand rails could be a little thicker but not bad. Arrived not damaged. You will need deck flanges, not supplied. Also, you need to buy a pool mat so the bottom of the ladder does not rip your pool liner if it shifts in the water.

Great price and value
On my first swim in our new pool (newly acquired, the pool existed in the home we purchased) I swam over and stepped on the ladder (the one replaced by this purchase) and on the top step snapped, then the second, and my inaugural swim ended with a cut foot and broken ladder. I checked prices at my local pool supply and found this to be a steal (with Amazon Prime and no sales tax, it was half the price of local options.) It installed easily, very little difficulty putting it together. We have a gunite, in-ground pool with a cement coping, bluestone decking and blue-and-white tile surround. Not supper fancy, but not plastic either. This ladder looks great and the gleaming white steps really add newness to everything. For such little money, it was a great transformation. If your ladder is more than a couple of years old, pull it out and replace with this. You will be glad you did.

Pierced my pool liner
This ladder was really difficult to assemble - the holes for the poles to slide in were not quite big enough and my husband had to use a mallet and a lot of swear words to get it assembled. But the real problem is that the bottom step would NOT stay on. There's no real way to attach it, it just kinda sits there. So, inevitably, within a month of installing in our aboveground pool, the step came off while we were climbing out and the metal poles pierced our pool liner (which was brand new!) We had to go get liner patches and it looks bad. Unfortunately it's past our return date bc I bought it preemptively, but this thing is junk and a total waste of money and time.

Be aware need extra parts (to attach to a deck) that are sold separately……
We just got this ladder yesterday. I actually think it will be a great ladder. BUT it doesn’t come with the attachments to attach to our deck and are sold separately. I did not realize this when I ordered it. So now we are waiting for the “flanges” that I had to order specifically for this ladder. Praying I ordered the right ones and that they fit. Why would they not come with it?!

Good Quality Stainless Steel In-ground Pool Ladder
I checked out local pool retail stores and for the exact item, they (retail stores) wanted over $100 more per ladder. I had to change out both my ladders because they were rusting (previous owners had converted pool to salt water) and I needed to take the contaminated ones out to balance the water Ph, etc. Anyway, I started searching online and found these and I can't believe how much retail stores increase their prices, what a rip-off and how greedy can you get? They work perfectly. The only issue on may have with the set (if they're a stickler for esthetics) is the hardware covers are made of white plastic instead of stainless steel. If you still have your old ladder's covers you may want to use C.L.R. on them to get rid of the rust and polish them up. Other than that, this is truly a great buy.
