Quick to fit and easy to use
Quick to fit and easy to use, clothes dry for free and in a fraction of the time compared floor standing airer. (Extra pulleys added to clear the roof beams)Very happy

Good size hangs lots of things
Only dislike is the wooden rods have a tenancy to slip off the hanger. Solution is to put screws in the rods on the outside edge to prevent them slipping off. Have put chased a Creel airer for every house we have lived it. Ideal for drying things. Heat rises so having this high up aids them drying. Very easy to assemble and great value for money.

Cheap rubbish …except not that cheap
The fittings for this are appalling. Immediately stripped the thread on the screw trying to install this then had a fight with it to retrieve it from the ceiling hence it being bent. Hopefully I’ll be able to find better versions at a hardware shop but I’m not confident about the rest of this contraption. The screws to fit the cleat for the rope are also minuscule and not appropriate for masonry and there’s no way to secure the laths to the slots. Really regret buying this which is made especially annoying as it actually wasn’t cheap.

Much heavier than expected
Item arrived on time but was only wrapped in black plastic sheeting which had ripped on one side exposing the laths. Once opened, one lath had a small dent in it and another was bowed (but not enough for me to request a replacement). The assembly instructions were easy to follow and it was put together very quickly. The laths do slide through the cast iron ends but only if you pull on the two ropes unequally, when raising or lowering the dryer. I resolved this by sticking small silicone tabs/pads (normally used to stop cupboard doors banging on the cupboard frame) on the laths by the cast iron ends. Two screws were provided for fixing the cleat but we're far to short to be effective (taking into the weight of the airer) especially when fully loaded. The weight of the airer was not something that I had taken into account and I had purchased one with 6 laths. It is worth considering if you truly need six or can manage with a smaller number of laths to reduce the weight.Overall, I am happy with this purchase as it was one of the cheaper ones in the market and it does do what it is designed for
