Adorable and cute deck! The artwork reminds me of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas". I am a seasoned Tarot card reader, but I do wish the pip cards had more depth. I definitely would not recommend to a beginner. And there is not a guide book included.The card stock is what one should expect - in my humble opinion - easy to shuffle and spread out. The outer box that holds the cards seems sturdy and should last a long time with some light TLC.If you are an experienced Tarot reader and adore Tim Burton's spooky-beautiful vibe, then you will love this deck. And yes, I am keeping it!

Let's get the obvious out of the way first: Yes, the cards are all beautiful. I went through the deck to ensure all the cards were present and then proceeded to do a few readings with them.If these little points don't really matter to you, feel free to grab this. If you can't read tarot cards without a guide book, I recommend getting a how to book to go along with this deck.Do I agree that this is a good deck for beginners? No, I don't. I know I personally struggled with pip decks initially. Even with a deck that contained more detailed cards, I still dig through the guide books frequently. This deck only contains the cards. The pictures would mean nothing to a complete novice.I do like the images, but they aren't as based on the RWS deck as the description claims. For example, the knights of swords and pentacles are standing with their respective elements, but they are mounted on horses in the RWS iirc. Not huge for me, but just something to be aware of if you wanted a deck similar to the RWS specifically.

My grandma used to tell fortunes when I was younger and I always wondered if I could do it and my kids wondered so I got these cards and very cool. The size is perfect. It's big which what I like. The design and tension to detail is amazing. They seem very durable and the colors are so vibrant. I love them.

Love the cards, however, they are hard to read if you are fairly new, like me. I will keep them and continue to learn tarot through other deck. The artwork is great the cards feel lovely.

I thought I would love this,deck but I don't. I am not getting clear messages from the artwork and I think it's because of the lack of detail. It'd very frustrating. When I pull out my traditional rider waites I can interpret them using the same question. I feel like I should put keywords on the cards to help me determine the message. I love the artwork but not for tarot readings.UPDATE: THE SELLERS WERE VERY CONSIDERATE AND GAVE ME A FULL REFUND. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I AM UPGRADING TO 4 STARS JUST FOR THEIR EASE TO WORK WITH.

I love these images so much!I wish the cards were a bit thinner. Yes, so many reviewers talk about how some cards (not these) are too thin, but I prefer them that way because they don't hurt my hands when shuffling and are easier to shuffle. These will take some breaking in. They hurt until they do.But I can forgive that due to how adorable they are. LOVE them!
