Good low-top safety shoe for wet conditions.
This was purchased as a work-shoe. I had a prior pair of nylon-covered Streamline Cat shoes that are finally giving out and let some water through after 2 years of heavy use. Even though I have pairs of Reebok and Sketchers alloy-toe shoes also, those are mesh and do nothing to hold back moisture. These new CATs are holding up against the wet weather fine and are comfortable enough for walking (I sometimes put in 2.5 miles in a day walking around my work-site). The stock insoles are nice enough, I'll use them for a few months before I switch to my preferred Superfeet Coppers. The leather outer-shell of this pair (being reviewed) can be oiled, so I hope to get more than two years out of them. If you are not working in muddy conditions but still need safety-toe, slip-resist for your work site, then the CAT Streamline series is a good bet, and this particular model is suiting me well.

Great work shoes
These shoes are awesome! The first few times you wear them they are a little stiff but then they break right in and are extremely comfortable. My last pair I wore for just shy of 2 years(they got pretty torn up towards the end) and I put them through just about everything - at one point i foolishly tried standing on a bucket of hydraulic fluid and the lid broke, dunking one of them, my foot included, by accident. After cleaning the outside of the shoe off, other than some minor discoloration it was hard to tell it had even happened. Because the first pair held up so well, I decided to go ahead and buy another pair. I work outside and am on my feet in the Arizona heat for 10+ hours a day. The shoes are a lot cooler internally than several others that I have tried out that is definitely a plus in the heat, that being said they do obviously run a little hotter than a sneaker but that is to be expected as they are not mesh. I recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable work shoe with a composite toe.

Great quality but Wide is not Wide
Overall, the shoes seem solid.Pros: The leather top feels authentic and the lace are well made. The protective rubber on front and back is nice and thick. I also like that they are composite toe, as opposed to “steel toe”. This makes these shoes very light compared to “steel toe” work shoes.Cons: a big con for me was that the wide size is not wide at all.Since these are sold as work shoes, I would have expected a bit more thicker thread on the sole. They are fairly flat on the bottom.Another thing that I noticed which I did not like but someone else might actually appreciate is that the rubber in the front is much wider than it seems on the product pictures. I did not like how it made the shoes look, but had they fit me I would not mind this because I can see how the wider rubber strip would actually be more protective, especially when kneeling.I have used CAT shoes for almost 20 years. I’ve gone through 4 pairs. I am not a construction worker, so for me they have lasted for about 5 years each or so. I use them primarily for hiking and outside work, which I do almost every day. My CATs are my go-to “rough shoes”.I really wanted to like these CATs... But unfortunately for me, the fit is not great. I am including a picture of a comparison with my old CATs. I have to always order a half size or one size bigger shoes because I have wide feet. So finding shoes that fit can be difficult. And when I come by a shoe that has a “wide” size, what they look like or how much I pay becomes a lot less important to me. So I got the wide size but unfortunately these are not even as wide as my old regular size. Wearing these for just 30 minutes creates pain right around the area where my foot gets wider. And in comparison to my old regular size, it’s not just the upper part that’s actually narrower on these, it’s also the sole that’s noticeably narrower. So that’s a deal breaker for me.I’m sure Caterpillar does not actually manufacture their shoes and they just license their brand so this is really disappointing.Bottom line: overall I like these shoes for their quality and design but the size is not right for me and they do not fit me, so 4 stars and returning.

Fit Good. Real Comfy
Went with my work boot size 10 (Shoe 9-1/2) and was able to put my Dr. Scholl's Air Bubble/Odor X insoles on top of existing insoles with room to spare in the toe. Excellent arch support. Mostly black leather upper looks real nice. Didn't want to pay $150 for my Vasque Men's Breeze at GTX Low Hiking Shoe which is waterproof. Hopefully my feet stay dry in these which I think they will.

CAT working shoes are the best!
This is my second pair of CAT working shoes. My first pair have a steel toe and are so incredibly durable that I still use them to this day after 8 years of wear to be used for more industrial jobs. For my current position I needed something that was lighter with a composite toe and that's where the Streamline shoes came into play. They feel just as solid and comfortable as my last shoe but feel more like sneakers in weight. Wearing them all day is easy and they go with whatever I wear in terms of business casual or work clothes.

Very good work shoes.
Very comfortable work shoes and very well made. No compromise and no cutting corners on quality. The price is also unbelievable. A little bit longer shipping time but it deosn't matter now. I am an office person but I have to step down to the shop floor every day. The thing that sets these shors apart from the other brands is the insole. very well engineered and it is not sweaty rubber with fabric, it is very comfortable and breathable.

Comfortable on concrete all day
It’s hard to find comfortable safety toe shoes when you stand on concrete all day. I work in a warehouse and move all day. These are so comfy. I’m so glad I ordered these. Plus I got to try them before I bought them. In case they didn’t actually fit. I sometimes have to go up a half size in mens work boots but these fit just like if they were tennis shoes. I wear a 9 in womens and the size 7 fits perfect

Fine at first but no support
These look nice bad seemed fine. But after a few weeks of wearing them, I began to have SIGNIFICANT foot pain. I can no longer wear them. Even with half inserts for support they do not do well. After purchasing, a good friend said he had bought them and tossed them out soon after because they killed his feet. Looks like I’ll be doing the same. Garbage. Expected better from Cat
