It should work fine for that. I upgraded my 500 GB HDD to a 2 TB HDD and the 2.5 drops right in. It’s been a while since I did it but you will need a usb drive to flash the PS4 firmware onto the new SSD. A quick YouTube search will help you find out how to do that.

Q: Has anyone use this with DeskPI Lite?

The DeskPI Lite is a CASE. You'll need a Raspberry Pi 4 for it. To my knowledge, Raspberry Pi 4 does not have a slot for M.2 SATA drives.
