Very good product

This is a beautifully crafted item and is easy to use. When measuring the length of screws, it shows about .20 to .25 mm more than the screw length. However, this could be because the screw head is included in the length. It is a bit hard to clasp the item whose length is being measured, but that is to be expected. It is Made in Japan and is truly a masterpiece!

Mitutoyo is the gold standard when it comes to measurement guages, with a price that matches its reputation!The build quality is excellent, although the plastic parts finish (including the box) doesn't match expectations.The only issue I see is that zero calibration was a bit off from factory and it is very hard to correct using the spanner provided (extremely tight and hence difficult to get an accurate adjustment). To make things worse, there is nothing mentioned in the manual about zero adjustment. I had to search the internet to get a manual from a different model. The zero position seem to be not very stable either, even though the error is only fractional.The product is original ( from Paramount traders) and the calibration cerificate had a serial number ( the product serial number is behind and can be seen only when the sleeve is at 10-15mm position).

The media could not be loaded. It’s not original I feel . It’s start problum with in to two month .

I have daily uses this instrument for measuring the thickness wood veneer theakness no problem at all
