Took my time and put all the washers on to space my Jet just so but the thing glides so smooth across my gantry. Works great

Works extremely well, especially for the price. Assembly was straight forward by following instructions. Once installed, I was extremely happy with how smooth the trolley rolls. I have not loaded it with anything extremely heavy as of yet, but the light pieces have been easy to maneuver and place where I wanted without any jerking, yelling, tugging, or nervousness from it not being controlled. I have always had a piece of mind with the way it is built to last as well as how it handles.Update: 12/17/17I have been using this trolley for a year now and it is still smooth as silk. I had to remove the head from my truck, which is not super heavy, but obviously needed to be handled with care. The trolley made the transition smooth and easy. No matter how heavy or light the peice is, the trolley is easy to maneuver, stop, and control.

This is the second Jet Trolley I have put up and I would use another if I needed it. My first one went on a jib crane I built with a 10" beam and this one was placed on a solid 4" beam running down the middle of the barn. It rolls very smooth even under weight. The heaviest load I have undertaken is about 1000 lbs. I believe in keeping a safe margin and oversizing whenever I can but I have full confidence it would handle the 2 ton as promised. Apparently colors differ as my first one is painted like the image but the second one is grey.

fit and finish very good. JET brand is upper end of the made in Asia tool and machines . beam flange fit 31/4 in to 8 in. recommend for anyone with a 2 ton gantry Crain.

I bought this to provide side to side movement on my gantry crane. It is well built and rolls quite smooth. There is no brake on it but I just use a c clamp on either side of it if I need it to remain stationary.

Nice trolley! Rolls so smoothly along beam.Pay the bit xtra for this import trolly. It rolls significantly better than some of the other import trolleys we used past and present!You will not regret this purchase!

I went looking for a trolley for my new shop. I had a Grainger in my old shop that worked fine and although I found several out there the price had gone up quite a bit. I looked on Amazon and saw this Jet for a great price. Bought it and couldn't be happier. It fit my I-beam perfectly, came with plenty of spacers and it rolls easily. I would not hesitate to buy another one.
