If your wanting very high quality pasta that has great texture and taste you will love this brand. In the stores they are around 3.50 for a one pound box here but under 2.30 shipped here on Amazon. Yup, De Cecco Really Is Superior Pasta!
De Cecco is real Italian pasta at a great price! Most Americans grew up on noodle brands like American Beauty or generic supermarket brands. Back then, noodles were noodles and we had few choices. Today, fine dried pasta and even fresh pasta is readily available in many shapes and sizes from both US and international suppliers.Among these are noted upscale brands -- with some actually imported from Italy like De Cecco. This is bronze cut pasta. Ask any Italian foodie and they will tell you that pasta cut from a bronze die has a rougher surface and exudes more starch when cooked. This texture is quite enjoyable and allows sauces to cling much better. It turns out this is important in many fine dishes like Cacio e Pepe.Having traveled throughout Europe, my wife and I are quite familiar with the marvelous pastas that are commonly served in the region, particularly in Italy. We are very pleased that for some time now, De Cecco has been widely available in this country at many supermarkets and now on Amazon. There really is a quality difference. Try a box of these delicious De Cecco pastas for yourself... you'll be glad you did.

Great texture, but cooks a little fast
I recently tried this linguine pasta, and overall, I’m happy with the quality. The texture is smooth and holds sauces really well, especially with cream or marinara.
