Worked as expected.
This was my first time attempting to stain concrete. I chose the English Red because it was described as a soft brown and that is what I wanted. However, it was more red than brown. It was more like the red stain that you see when rusty water is leaving stains on a sidewalk/house. There was enough stain to cover my 16 x 20 stamped concrete patio. Using a sprayer I applied one coat, went over it again, then decided to add some brown. I bought a brown wood stain and swirled it around the centers of each stone. I love the results. I am really happy with the results. I also applied a sealer.

Enormously superior to the non-acid etching stains
This acid stain produces a very natural stone-looking result. I've used it in my home and I've used it in high-end retail showrooms with outstanding results. One huge warning: If you use too dark a tent or if you run it too strong, you can turn your floor black. I would suggest that you err on the side of a lighter color, somewhat diluted.

reliable
I've used the black walnut on the concrete in the dining room, common room, 2 bedrooms and a hallway in my house. It's a great product and has held up well with dogs, kids, heavy traffic, etc. I recommend going to the Kemiko website and going through the tutorials on how to do concrete staining with their products. It's a steep learning curve the first time, but after you do it once, you get better after that. I recommend doing one room, sort of off the beaten path, first - then, adjust accordingly and do the other rooms you want to do. I sprayed this stain out of a cheap garden sprayer, used 2 coats, and then a sealer (after washing with a deck broom with a water/amonia mix to neutralize the acid).

Not for old concrete
Does not stain well on old concrete.

Doesn’t work
This product did nothing. When we sprayed it on the cement it just looked like water. No color or reaction at all!

Kemiko stain.
Looks great after all the effort. I used their clear and wasn't to impressed. After a month of drying it left my bikes tire prints. I'll redo later.

Color change didn't occur.
I used this on brick pavers and didn't see any real change in color. used some of it on existing concrete that had already been stained, didn't see any stain color. I finally used some stain I had left from my concrete and it worked well on the bricks. I'm wondering if the green color of the product had anything to do with it not working. The old stain I had was very dark in color. Very expensive for no real change in color. I was after a burnt umber color which the container had burnt umber on it.

Not what we hoped for
Didn't work as well as we hoped. We followed all the directions and applied it to freshly resurfaced concrete. As the pictures show, it turned out very splotchey and more importantly orange instead of brown. The 3rd picture is after we applied green to it (as recommended) trying to tone down the orange. It helped some, but ended up using half strength black over all of it. I'm leaving a review for the "black" stain as well but the 2nd picture we used the "black" along the edge of the driveway.
