Work fine on snowmobile tie down bar
I needed this to replace the missing tie down nut on my snowmobile trailer. I bought 2 knowing they would need to be modified to fit. Easy install with self tapping screws.

Neat Product-Price A Little Too High
I ordered this while trying to come up with a way to mount my motorcycle chock in our toy hauler cargo trailer conversion. It's neat but wasn't as heavy-duty and large enough for mounting/attaching/supporting a motorcycle chock. As I mentioned in the headline...the price seemed very high for what you get. If it would have been in the $5.95 price range (plus shipping) or $9.95 with free shipping, it would have felt more like a justifiable purchase.

worked perfectly and installed easily
Used it over the weekend to hold down my Ski-Doo. Takes a few minutes to install. Four screws and drill a hole through the deck if needed for the center 1/2" crank down bolt.

it works
Its a 1/2 inch nut welded to a steel plate. the bolt threads into this nut perfectly. No further instructions needed.

The plate is not 3/8" thick as advertised
The plate itself is less than 1/8" thick, the 3/8" dimension advertised is the total thickness including the nut! I will be returning as I would not count on this to support/keep my sled safely fastened to my trailer! After reading the reviews, folks mention the cheap welds too! It's only spot welded in 2 locations - poorly made!

Ok but
They were not heavy enough. I returned them. Decent quality for what they are but I wouldn’t trust my sled going down the road with them. Lighter sled maybe.
