Love it
Plush plus! WARM! Love it. The slightest down side is the lites for heating settings are only white so in the dark, you are not certain what the settings are. I am used to green orange and red setting lights. Either way,it’s great

But I think that is a good thing. It keeps her warm even without being ...
It heats up quickly and gets quite hot. Even on the #1 setting (lowest possible) it was sometimes too warm for my Mother. But I think that is a good thing. It keeps her warm even without being turned on and when she does need additional heat, it is fast and very warm. Keep in mind my mother's place is set to 80 degrees so she never needs a lot of extra heat but when she does, she turns on the heating element and it works great. If the room temp were lower I am sure she would need the extra heat more often. We've had previous blankets that barely heated at all. She loves the idea that it has a 3 hour timer (will automatically turn off after 3 hours so you won't have to worry that it was left on all day). At age 87 she can forget to turn things off. And she also loves the idea it is washable. It's brand new so we haven't needed to wash it yet. We did need an extension cord because she uses it for her Recliner and the wall socket wasn't close to the chair. It is a throw and not a full size blanket - which is what she wanted. If you are using this on a bed it may not be long enough but the size is perfect for her chair. The controls were easy for her to learn. She is quite pleased with it.

Warm and works well, but a few disappointments
The blanket is soft and warm, heats up quickly, and the heat settings seem to work well. It has four levels of heat, I have only had it up to level 2 and I have been comfy on the couch with it watching TV, which is what I wanted it for. I like the color and the sherpa lining is soft and comfy. The blanket is warm even with the heat off. However, there are a few things I am disappointed with. The area of heat is not very large and doesn't go all the way to the edges of the blanket. You can see in the pictures where the stitching ends is where the heating element ends, leaving about 7-8 inches on either side where there is no heat. The cord placement is in an inconvenient spot down at the bottom left corner, so if you don't have an outlet to plug it in on that side the cord gets in the way. Also, there's a massive tag with the washing instructions sewn right on to the front of the blanket, which is a bit ugly. I may end up just cutting it off and saving it for when it needs washing.Overall the blanket is nice and it works for what I needed it for, but I dropped a star due to the issues pointed out above.

Quit working after 3 months
Initially I loved this throw. It worked perfectly and was warm and cozy. Performed perfectly. Size was great, it looked nice and wasn’t that gross cheap fleece material. That lasted about 3 months.Fabric Quality/durability:The Sherpa side of it over a couple weeks started to pill and look dirty. I used this blanket on my lap at work in a chilly office, so it did not see any rough kind of use at all. No kids, no pets on it. It barely moved besides when I would get up from my desk I would move it aside and it would stay on the side of my chair. The Sherpa I believe is just a polyester that’s made in a way that it almost behaves like a soft Velcro, if that makes sense. It grabs whatever fabric you have on with friction, and it stores it. I was wearing red cotton pants one day and noticed red fibers like almost intertwined in the sherpa. Annoying, and a fabric shaver really wouldn’t help. I just picked at it and was like oh well. Then I decided to take it home and wash it. I followed the instructions, delicate, and it didn’t improve anything. It just looked the same. Pilled and intertwined with other fabrics. The fluffy Sherpa eventually turns into smooshed, pilled dirtly looking Sherpa. At this point I was just glad it was at my office and not on my couch looking like that.I will note though that the green pretty velvet side stayed super vibrant, and didn’t dull or pill. It still looks very nice even now.I continued to use this from when I bought it at the beginning of Dec, and washed it I’d say end of January? Once. Then about March it just wasn’t has hot as it used to. I thought maybe it just wasn’t connected all the way or something, but no. Heating element or whatever was going out.Just barely gets hot. I kept using it, and it was just feeble warmth.Spring came and I brought it home to wash again and I put it in a closet to forget about it until now. It’s chilly again so I brought it out.Investigated it more closely. Did a cord fray or get stepped on? No. Cords look brand new. Blanket just is shot.I’m buying another $40-$50 bs blanket right now, and thought I’d leave a review for others to stay away from this one.Disappointing and Shoddy.I refuse to put this in a box, stand in line at ups, and pay return shipping for $15-$20 to use my “warranty” that probably doesn’t mean anything and get a “refund” I’d rather be out the $40 and live and learn.Bought a sunbeam one bc I thought they were supposed to be good.Read all the reviews everyone, not just the ppl who bought it plugged it in and used it a week and wrote a review that it’s the best thing ever. Don’t buy this.

Soft Sherpa, Warm Blanket
This blanket got me through the winter. I usually run warm so I only used the warm and low settings. The higher settings would be great for someone that gets really cold. The Sherpa is soft.

Single Cord Power Supply
So I use this and have ordered two more for gifts. We also have another brand that is thicker, but has more complexity in its power cords and is less convenient bc of that. This blanket heats up fast and I seldom turn it up to the higher power settings (4) and only use the lowest setting. I'm a big, tall guy and it covers my body totally. The price is reasonable and that makes it a win for me. This is not a thick, lux blanket, but it doesn't need to be when used as an electric throw.
