Worth the Price
I understand this body soap is on the pricier side, but one bar lasts a long time—up to a month! Both my father and husband absolutely love it. My dad has oily skin, and my husband works in maintenance, and they both feel it exfoliates and cleans exceptionally well. Plus, it has a soothing, spa-like scent that’s a bonus! My dad calls me when he is running low on inventory....lol

Great scent
Expensive.. yes.. Worth it.. absolutely!! This bar of soap is a unique one for sure! It does a great job of exfoliating the skin and getting you clean. What's unique about it is the scent... It's unlike any other soap I've tried but I love it!! It's earthy, and woodsy, and aquatic, and.. it's honestly hard to explain exactly what it smells like, but it smells amazing! And it lingers on the skin for hours after showering! If you ever have the extra money and feel like splurging and treating yourself than I recommend giving this soap a try!

Good, not great
Overall: pleasant scent that leans masculine (I grew tired of it, personally), good exfoliation, lasts longer than you’d expect, but unspectacular ingredients.Compared to Dr. Squatch: on a per ounce basis, Dr. Squatch soap bars are cheaper, especially when you buy in larger bundles. Dr. Squatch also has a far superior ingredient profile (just a few natural ingredients that you can actually pronounce). On a per use basis, Baxter California wins handily. Ounce for ounce, it just lasts longer. I think that’s enough to erase the cost per ounce advantage Dr. Squatch has.Overall pick: Dr. Squatch. More scent options, vastly superior ingredients, and with large bundles (and sales), you can get a good deal. That doesn’t make Baxter California a bad pick. I just think that when you put some thought into it, it isn’t the best choice for performance or cost.

High quality and smells great!
This is a great soap! It has an earthy masculine smell to it but it is not musky, stingy, or pungent. It’s a very natural and pleasant fragrance, not only in the shower but afterwards as well. I have tried some of the more popular soap brands like Squatch, Grandpa’s Pine Tar, and a few others so far. I do really like Squatch but I notice that I cannot smell any aroma/fragrance on my body after the shower when I use those soaps. The Baxter soap gives you a wonderful aroma without any sort of residue on your skin. It’s a very calming and soothing scent and, of all the soaps I have tried so far, my girlfriend likes this one the best. I will say for people with sensitive skin, that it does have an abrasive scrub property to it that may not work for everybody but I found it to be quite nice.

Good soap, High price
My favorite brand of exfoliating soap got discontinued for some reason. So I was looking for something else. This is very nice and the bar lasts much longer than I expected. Yet, because the price is so high at 20 bucks for one single bar, I will continue to look for something else.I don't know the process of making soap, but to me, it seems like fancy soap should be about 10 bucks a bar at the most.

"Grown-Up Soap That Actually Does Something"
This is not your average grocery-store bar of soap. The Baxter Exfoliating Body Bar strikes the perfect balance between grit and glide. You get a refreshing scrub without feeling like you’re wrestling a handful of sandpaper. The scent is clean and sophisticated—like you just stepped out of a barbershop that only accepts appointments from 007. Lathers well, rinses clean, and leaves you feeling brand new. Honestly, it’s one of those rare grooming products that makes you look forward to a shower. No complaints, and I’ll keep ordering until they stop making it (which I hope they never do).
