It's not perfect but does the job
Imounted the Pile Driver securely to a ¾" particle board wall (with some of the screws into a stud). I attached a ¾" clear vinyl hose and routed it to a large catch container which had a screen mesh inside. The mesh allowed the powder to fall through and still catch the bullets (and occasional casings). The small bullet trap included is way too small and good for 1rd before having to dump it and clean it. After 45rds, the retaining nut that holds the Locking Knob came loose causing the Locking Knob to come off the Carrier Assy. I tightened it securely and the problem did not reoccur (maybe Lok-Tite it?). The Rubber Spacer on top of the Carrier Assy tends to bend up, getting in the way. Just be mindful of this so it's not a real problem. The most perplexing issue was that 20% of the empty cases (and some full cartridges) fell out of the Carrier, down the tube and into my catch container. This may be the result of dimensional variances in the casings and how tight the bullet is held by the case neck. IMHO, The Pile Driver works well, nothing broke, and it makes bullet pulling easier and faster. It took me less than 2hrs to pull 517 bullets, reclaim the powder and sort the brass. The actual pulling process going slow and steady, averages about 5rds per minute. Overall, 4-½ rds per minute, including dealing with any issues. I think the key is to secure the Pile Driver securely to a solid non-flexing, non-moving object and go slow, steady, and methodically. The designer and engineer should have done more testing and tweeking before marketing this product. (i.e.-using metal bolts and bushings for the handle pivot pins instead of plastic. Also, a slightly stronger spring or non-smooth collet to hold the casing).

Super time saver
The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing! I will never use a kinetic hammer again. Super simple to set up and use. Definitely want to add the hose. The first 150gr 30-06 I pulled, the projectile went straight into the foam of the collection tray, and deformed the lead tip. After adding the vinyl hose and slipping on the viewtainer I ran 20 in no time at all. Great product as usual for Frankford Arsenal

Make sure it’s complete
The item was fine. This bullet puller functions fine. However whoever this was shipped from or sold by should not be shipping one of their returns. As this had been opened and then taped up. No instructions no mounting screwsThe manf is making up for what the seller did not do.

Great machine but buy new not used from Amazon
A friend lent me his to disassemble a few hundred rounds I picked up but had no data on and after using it knew I needed one.I bought and returned two from Amazon warehouse that were marked “Used-Like New” but were well used and broken. The third time I just bought the new one to save the mileage and time to open the box find the stuff unusable and return it.My only complaint is the plastic frame could be a little more sturdy but other than that this thing makes my life way easier.

Progressive Reloading Companion
One word, AWESOME! I 've been reloading 45 ACP on a progressive press and find the occasional small primer pocket that throws monkey wrench in the works. In the process of restarting I have forgotten to turn on the primer feed and end up with a few cartridges with out primers. The Frankford Arsenal Pile Driver Bullet Puller has made short work of pulling the bullets. So far I've pulled 12, 200 gr. cartridges without any problem. Like others who have posted concern with the construction I am also concerned with how the integrity of the plastic will hold up over time. However, my experience has been that these reloading companies stand behind their products, so I'm confident if a problem arises Frankford Arsenal will stand behind it like they've done with their other products.

1 major design flaw!
First let me say Frankford took care of replacing the broken piece immediately. That said, the piece that constantly breaks is in the carriage. The carriage is strictly made from plastic materials. The force crested on it must be enormous. The fins on the piece that turns and locks in shesrs off. When this happens the carriage is locked in place. Took an hour to figure out how to get it out the first time. The first time approximately 100 rounds were pulled. Swapped out the piece with one from the other carriage. Got approximately 200 rounds pulled and the same thing happened. If this piece was made from machined metal, no cast, the problem would go away. I would gladly give the 10 dollars for a mass produced 1 dollar piece to correct this problem.
