Would this fit a 12-year-old that is 5 foot 2 inchs

Not a chance. It's really small. My 5 year.old, who is very small for his age, barely fits it. Don't waste your money on this set, it is REALLY crappy and not made well at all. It's basically only good for a 2-3 year old.

do these pads slip around any?

would this fit my 12 year old boys?

It fits my 7 year old pretty well and he is around 48" tall. The mask is a little on the big side.It is adjustable so they could fit into it but it may be on the short side for them.
