I was so happy to find this item on Amazon because I have been having difficulty locating it in my local stores. As a family with celiac, it is important that we have gluten-free products, which this teriyaki sauce is. It is made with gluten-free tamari, rather than soy sauce. Many lines make a tamari, but not a teriyaki sauce. San-J has created an absolutely delicious sauce using the gluten-free tamari. The sauce has the perfect balance of salt and sweet. Upon initially opening the bottle, the product is somewhat watery, but quickly cooks down into a thick sauce, which is absolutely perfect for basting chicken or adding to rice and vegetables. The bottle was well packaged, and there was no leaking or breaking. I have in the past seen this product in stores for slightly less money, but because it is so rare to find it, it is definitely worth the price that I paid.

Have been getting this sauce for many years. Highly recommended for taste. Arrived beautifully packaged and on time. Definitely worth the price!

The flavor is good but it is very thin unlike the popular paste. Hence the reason why it's gluten free.

If you want a sweet sauce this isn't for you.this sauce is very good as a tangy soy sauce substitute. it's not super sweet, so don't expect a sweet sauce like at a teriaki resturaunt.other wise, the sauce is excellent! it goes well in stir fries, noodle bowls, and anything with a rice base basicly.I have not tried marinating with it, but I'll try it soon. I'd recomend.

This pours out as oil until you can get to the actual sauce, then it really has an unpleasant taste......NOTHING like a normal satay sauce. There is a much less expensive, slightly smaller sized, satay sauce on here from another brand, that though it is not great (it seems to have a seasoning in it that changes the stereotypical satay sauce flavor) but it is edible and you are definitely eating a satay sauce. This one is spicy but its not terrible in that way as the spiciness fades fairly quickly however the flavor is just not good. I am dreading finishing the first bottle, and would love to return the second bottle for half my money back, but I dont believe that that is within the return policy of Amazon so I am forced to keep this disgusting product. I am very unhappy and I have literally never given a bad review on Amazon before, but this one was worthy of it. It is true that there is a very slight peanut flavor if you concentrate really hard on finding it LoL Dont do it. Its not worth the money just to try it to see if it works for you. It may be an edible sauce but it is not a satay sauce.

Good sauces! Normal size bottles and good value for 4 sauces. Great for stir frys and rice/pasta dishes.

Great product, gluten free! Hard to find GF Asian sauces. In the future will only buy one flavorGluten-free:Really is quality GFTaste:Not a fan of a few flavors, they are edible but not preferred. Favourite is the Mongolian, they do almost all taste the same
