It is a reimagining of the original in the style of endless waltz. The design was for the gundam wing: endless waltz glory of the losers manga.

Not really. It’s a model kit. It’s articulated, and you can pose it in a variety of ways, but I don’t think it would stand up well to being constantly played with.

Is this a modern mg?’

Really depends on how you define “modern”. This kit has an inner-frame and it’s articulation is about what you would expect out of some of the newer kits but it is a few years old.
