This Is A Fun, Challenging Book!
This really is a challenging, fun book. I wasn't sure what to expect even after reading the other reviews but I have really enjoyed this book. It takes a while to complete a picture but it is a fun, relaxing way to have something to do while watching TV or just sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. This is a somewhat over-sized book, and the little squares, etc. are somewhat small, but you can still see the numbers so you will know what color to fill in each square. There are a variety of pictures to complete, from animals to geometrical designs, and you won't know what picture you are completing until you are about half done. If you want to cheat, you can look in the back of the book, as there is a picture of each completed design there. The paper is heavier and the designs are, thankfully, just printed on one side of each page, so you don't have to worry about your markers or pens bleeding through the paper onto a design on the other side of the page. Not only is this a great book for someone who likes coloring by numbers and puzzles, but this would be also be a great item for someone who likes to have something to do while watching TV or someone who is in the hospital. I plan to bring this book to work along with my colored pencils so I can work on this during my lunch hour. It's a great quality book with a nice, heavier feel and is definitely gift quality. I highly recommend it!

Love this book!
I love this coloring book! The patterns are a mystery (unless you look at the back of the book) that are slowly unveiled as you color the page. The book is very large, much larger than a regular coloring book. There are 30 patterns; each is printed on one side of the page, and the paper is nice and thick. The pages are perforated and easily tear out of the book. The only way this book could be better is if it were spiral bound so that I wouldn't need to tear each page out of the book in order to color it comfortably. Most of the patterns are very intricate and require lots of time and patience -- I find them really fun to color. Someone with less patience or attention to detail may not enjoy it as much. The numbers on the spaces are rather small and light, and you need good lighting to see them. Some of the lighter colors do not fully cover up the numbers, but the finished pages still look good regardless. You wouldn't want the numbers to be too dark or too large, or there would be more of an issue with numbers showing through.I really like how these pictures look when colored with gel pens. However, a quick note to gel pen users - these pages use up a lot of ink! I try to start each picture with fresh, unused pens, but on some patterns I will go through an entire pen of one color, and then I struggle to find another color that matches up with the one I was using. It may be better if you have multiples of the same color. Another note is that if you want to color these with the actual colors that are suggested (and of course I do!), then you will need to have lots of browns, yellows, and oranges at your disposal. Even if you buy the gel pens that come in packs of 100, there are not too many shades of browns, yellows, and oranges ... and those are hard colors to buy separately. So, be warned. I've gone through multiple packs of 100 in search of those colors ... and now I have an unnecessarily large number of gel pens in other colors. You could also use colored pencils or fine markers to color these patterns. I just find that the gel pens (especially the sparkly ones) are more fun to use.

Pandemic? Blah... grab this book and color on!
So.. my daughter bought this exact color book for herself during this pandemic off Amazon. It took awhile for her to get it-because of the pandemic.. so she was bummed..but she was super excited when it arrived! It’s a huge book, and the squares are small- but I thought it would be fun to color a page...so I asked her if I could... and she said,”welll.. I don’t really want to tear out a page.” Wow. OKKAYY! So I bought my own- and I got it shipped much faster than she did :) TOUCHE’!This color book is huge- has nice thick quality pages- I still put something under the page- I use one of those cute kid school folders-cause I don’t want to ruin the next pic- I use crayola thin markers on mine and while I haven’t had it go through, I’m cautious.I just pick a picture and select my markers and color on. Yes, some of the squares are tiny and super small - my 50 year old eyes let me know this- but I enjoy it and I don’t color the whole thing in one sitting.. I enjoy watching the picture unfold. That being said- in the back are small images of what the picture will look like... daughter won’t look at them.. I like to look however, so I’ve seen them all- but I usually don’t use that to chose what I want to color. It’s nice to have the option to see what your coloring and see if you’ve completely lost all your senses and messed up! Which for the record, I haven’t :)I don’t get a lot of free time to color- but it’s relaxing and I really enjoy the book- sometimes we even color together in our SEPERATE books for now while she’s home from college.. so that’s fun and we are making memories.. and no one has to tear out a page :)

I LOVE THESE
I love these sheets. I color them all day in school along with taking notes. They actually really help me focus. Otherwise, I would be bored and space out. The numbers are clear and easy to read. I love how you don’t know what it will be until you color it. The pictures are pretty complicated and last a while. You can either time and color in each square perfectly, or if you’re someone with no patience for that you can rush through it and it still turns out great. They always look beautiful at the end and I love how they’re in many different shapes such as squares, triangles or circles.
