As the chalk dries, does it leave a clear film or white film on your hands?

Yes, it leaves a white, chalky film on your hands that lasts through several reps/lifts. I probably won't go back to using regular chalk... stuff is great!!!

What's the difference between Monkey and Gorilla editions??

Gorilla is very chalky & works just like regular chalk – it was developed specifically for Olympic Lifting & Powerlifting movements. The Monkey is much stickier & less chalky as it was developed for CrossFit type of training. It works best for pullups. Gorilla allows you a lot of movement while still providing exceptional grip & keeping your hands dry. Monkey allows little movement as it designed to keep you “glued” to the pull up bar. Both formulas have been shown to help avoid blisters and is naturally antibacterial. Weightlifting = Gorilla, CrossFit = Monkey!
