This cassette player has been wonderful. I got it for my mom when my dad passed away. He recorded tapes when he was younger and she has listened to them on this for the past 9 months. It is something that you cant put a price on!

Small Size, Surprising Sound Quality
I was looking for a tape player/recorder for a project that required only very basic sound quality, so I was very surprised to hear the rich sound and full volume that this little cassette player provides. All functions work smoothly and will more than satisfy my needs.

Decent, does not capture stereo cassette.
Pretty decent cheap radio/cassette player. Sound quality is not that great, but not too poor either. One thing to note is that even with headphones/auxiliary hooked up, the cassette player still outputs in mono. It will output the same signal to both sides of the stereo output, but one side will be inverted from the other. You end up getting this really weird audio cancelation effect unless you mute either the left or right speaker, or un-invert one side in post. This does not affect playback with the built in speaker as there is only one to begin with. still pretty annoying as I wanted to use this to convert some tapes to digital, but it won't work for that as I am missing stereo.
