Wonderful colors!!
These are fantastic. I used them to paint my sugar cookies that I made for my book club. I liked that they were thick and didn’t make my frosting runny. They’re very rich in color and I only needed a couple of drops. I’m very excited to have these for other projects. You can tell in the photos how brightly colored they are. So I put a drop or two in a little cup and added some water to paint tue base color and then added spots on top of the giraffe cookies, so I used them like a watercolor to kind of paint on top of my frosted cookies. I also mixed in some with the frosting to test it and it worked well. The set comes in little bottles that are perfect size. There is a large variety of colors to choose from and mix together! It was a lot of fun to pick what colors I wanted and I was able to blend them together, truly like watercolors to achieve the color palette I wanted for my project. I would highly recommend these for any food coloring needs when it comes to decorating!!

Beautiful & Vibrant Colors!
I did use these dyes for our eggs this Easter 2025. I did a dye bath in 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup boiling water with 1 teaspoon white vinegar & 10 drops of a color all in a small glass bowls. I like all the colors! I did give some of these eggs to a neighbor in an Easter basket with other Easter goodies. I also did a speckled egg using some of the deeper dyes in this kit, red, purple, navy blue. The speckle is a complementary color & done after the 1st color dye is totally dry. Speckle is done in sandwich sealable bags. Add 1/2 cup dry white rice, 10 drops of a color & 1 tsp vinegar to speckle bags. Mix thoroughly before added the egg you want to speckle. Roll the egg gently into the speckle rice bag with the bag sealed for a few moments. I did not do that with the 1st dyed pink egg into a purple speckle rice bag. That is the deep purply egg you see in my photo of my batch. Lol. My husband still thinks it looks great! & my neighbors children liked that the bluish eggs looked similar to Robin Bird eggs. Oh, another tip of the speckle rice bag is to add a 1/4 teaspoon of vinegar each time you think the rice with dye has gotten too dry inside the bag. Overall it was easy to use. Another tip, on the original dye bath I did keep eggs in for more than 5 minutes to achieve more depth of color. I did get some dye on my countertop, but with a spray of Totally Awesome Original Cleaner, the color wiped totally off. Each of these bottles will give lots of color to other baking you might do. The dyes were easy to use.

Go-To Color
These colors are so nice and vibrant. They mixed well with my bakery buttercream and it was easy to be build the color to the level I was looking for. The bottles are the perfect size since you just need a few drops of the color when adding to a white base. As I always do, I got it on my hands and counter but it washed/wiped off so easy. This will definitely be my go to color for baking!

Love the variety - didn't dye my skin - colors could be stronger!
I purchased these for cookies for St. Patrick's Day (so we needed rainbows!) and have some good and some bad.The variety of colors was amazing. I loved that we had two different shades of green to start with, and that we were able to make even more with multiple blue and yellow options. We also discovered the dye did not stick to our hands when we were prepping a lot of different colored dough, which surprised us! We thought we'd have rainbow hands but it came right off our skin so we could make multiple colors without worry of bleeding. The colors could be a little stronger - we used a lot of drops of red and ended up with something that was still mostly pink - our rainbows were a little muted overall and we hesitated adding tons of drops. Still, with all we added we didn't notice a taste difference so we were probably safe to add more. I wish it came with some instructions or ideas on how to make richer/different colors like some of the store bought dyes do.The bottles are small, but I think the variety of colors makes this a great value. I'm looking forward to using them again for Spring cookies (the more muted colors will be perfect) and probably July 4th cookies as well!
