What is the biggest piece of wood you can fit in this?

The maximum width the jaws will take is 1.5" or 4cm. I used it for picture framing and it worked fine .

Would this be any good for holding a cupboard draw together

I didn't notice any marks. I have used it many times. The surfaces are really smooth on the inside of this tool

Would this work around a door need to glue a tenon joint

Yes, I'm sure it would if the nylon strap is long enough. Personally, I'd use 'Sash Cramps' as there is no 'Give' which may allow joints to expand slightly. The alternative is to use sacrificial pieces of wood and a strong rope tourniquet which can progressively tightened. Use a serious external wood glue with about a 20 minute set time but allow it to set overnight for good measure, whichever method used.
