I believe it all worked, as the bait disappeared and so did the rodent problem

Product seems great, but the size of the rat in my garden looks too big to fit in the mouse/rat hole?! 😶The rat is moving and tossing the box, so have weighed it down.I’ll check for bite marks inside next week …

A bait box like this is the obvious way to get rid of rats, who come in, find the poison bait, and keep coming back for more, eventually - yes, horribly, but they are a pest really - dying, when their nest-mates and family, being clean-habited creatures, dispose of their colleague by eating him/her and eventually destroying the colony.That's the plan anyway. I am an active gardener with a bird and hedgehog friendly garden, so traps or poison pellets and suchlike are not in anyway an option - my garden is bordered by five others, including old-people's bungalows (mostly untended) and some old-people's flats (also untended) , hence we occasionally get a little brown problem.I sited the box behind a shed, on a shared-garden border where they were bound to find it, which they did, I looked a week later to find some bait gone, re-filled it (using gloves etc) and next week much more was gone, then next week less, and the week following it was barely nibbled. A slight death smell was on the air this final week from near the flats. This type of product works - sure, it's a nasty thing to do to any creature, but rats are not nice things to have in your garden or around your house at all. This item worked well for our garden, and effectively sorted out a problem for about a dozen other residents nearby who have no knowledge of my action and have therefore not thanked me!

After seeing a rat on my doorstep CCTV I bought one of these stations and loaded it up with rat poison.Monitoring my CCTV daily I realised that the rat must have been tipped off and never did come back to try my special dish. A bit disappointed really :(
