Does this figure come with a stand? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to display him without just balancing?

He does not come with a stand unfortunately, but I used a funko pop figure stand, the little clear circle they come with. It fit in one of Hobie’s feet and it helps him stand and pose a bit.
