To obtain the latest firmware for the 786 device: Visit the official Spedal website: https://spedal.cc/ Navigate to the Support'-'Downloads'' section. Choose your 786 model 'Firmware' section. Can this be mounted vertical? Does it have an auto rotate?

I mounted it horizontal. I don’t know if it will work vertically

How's the audio? Does the audio connect to the speakers of the car?

Mine connected to the Bluetooth in my car without any issues. It takes like 15 seconds or so to connect to your phone when you startup and when it does it also connects to the car Bluetooth. You do need to go into settings and change the audio output to Bluetooth because it is set by default to the speaker on the device.

Does it turn on automatically when vehicle is powered on or when unit is provided power?

If it's plugged into a power source it will turn on when you turn on the car. No need to turn on manually.
