Does it adhere to the side of the sink?

I guess it depends on the sink. Stuck ours to the side of a bathroom sink unit and it is very secure. Seems like it would stick to any dry, clean, smooth and hard surface.

The size of the part attached to the wall is: 13 × 4cm The size of the towel rail is: 19.6 × 4cm

Does this hold a bath sheet?

Not even close. It holds my lightweight bath mat, folded in half along it’s length. It’s fallen off though so I would no longer recommend this product for a bathroom.

Do you get a Right And Left hand version ??

It's just one version which you can attach with the open end on the left or right as you require. It's finished the same all the way around so you can choose.
