how do i change the source of the monitor?

If you are connecting a device via a hdmi cable or otherwise to the monitor, the monitor will display the output of the device. For example, if you connect a laptop, it will display the screen output of the laptop. You will need a hdmi cable for this.

How big is the stand that holds the monitor?

The stand is OK but I was not satisfied with the picture quality so have returned it

Unsure if my monitor is faulty as the screen is always tilted backwards at an odd angle and I can't seem to get it to stay upright?

Mine did this but it was because I hadn’t set it in the stand correctly. Have a look at the instructions and make sure it’s fitted correctly 😀

How do I adjust the Brightness and Contrast on this model?

There are setting called DCR, under display option. Switch it off and you can adjust brightness and contrast.
