The Lee .45 Carbide dies come with a "taper crimp". The .45 ACP headspaces on the mouth of the cartridge and a roll crimp would mess that up.

Is this set for the 45 Long Colt?

Yes. I used this set for over 1000 rounds for my Rossi R92 rifle chambered for the .45 Long Colt. No issues with any rounds.

Does the warning to not reload 40s&w for Glock relevant to this 4 die set? I only see the warning posted for the 3 die set.

not sure what you are talking about. I have been using exclusively lee 4-die set for all my pistol calibers from 9 to 44mag, including 40S&W. no any issue at all out of my glocks after literally a few thousand rounds.
