The multitasking overachiever my morning routine
If you’re looking for a moisturizer that does more than just sit there and look pretty on your bathroom shelf, CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 is your new BFF. I’ve tried enough moisturizers to fill a small swimming pool, but this one finally gets me-and my skin.First off, it hydrates like it’s training for the Olympics. My face goes from “desert in July” to “dewy and thriving” in about 30 seconds. Bonus points for not making me look like I just ran a marathon in a vat of oil.The SPF 30 is the real MVP here. I can now step outside without feeling like I’m auditioning for the role of “Lobster #3” in a seafood commercial. Plus, it doesn’t smell like I’m about to hit the beach (no offense to coconut-scent lovers). It’s lightweight, plays nice with my makeup, and doesn’t make me break out-which is basically a skincare miracle. The only “white cast” I see is when I try to apply it in the dark, so maybe just turn on the lights. Problem solved. In short: this lotion is the multitasking overachiever my morning routine desperately needed. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a happy, protected face. Thanks, CeraVe, for making my skin (and my dermatologist) very, very happy.

Reliable Daily Moisturizer with SPF
This is my go-to morning moisturizer. It’s lightweight, doesn’t leave my skin greasy, and the built-in SPF 30 is a great bonus for everyday protection. Absorbs quickly and layers well under makeup or on its own. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and gentle on sensitive skin. Great value for a dermatologist-recommended product that does exactly what it promises.

The cream has a non-greasy texture, absorbs easily, and does not clog pores. It’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Burns eyes
It is very lightweight and helps prevent sunburn living in the south. However, it does burn your eyes so be careful not to use too close to your eyes or sweat or swim too soon after applying.

Great for my sensitive skin!
We live in the sun capital of the United States and also the skin cancer capital of the US and I am outside almost every day. This is part of my morning routine and it doesn’t break out or irritate my skin and it keeps the damaging UV rays at bay!

Lightweight, moisturizing, and great with SPF
Been using this as my everyday moisturizer and it’s been great. Super lightweight, not greasy at all, and it sits well under makeup. I love that it has SPF — perfect for daily wear without feeling like sunscreen. No breakouts or irritation, even on sensitive skin. Definitely a staple in my routine.

Not sure it's working?
Due to skin damage, my dermatologist recommended I start using daily face sunscreen, and I chose this because I get very dry skin. I can only put very little of this on because it otherwise won't rub in (leaves white streaks) and it piles. I do about half a squirt on my forehead, half for the rest of my face, and 1 squirt for my neck and ears. I've only been using it for about a month, and it's early spring, so I'm not certain how much it is protecting my skin. I've only used chemical sunscreens in the past that go on clear, so i'm not sure if this is just how things work with mineral sunscreens.
