This oen type laser puts out quite a bit of light. I purchased it to have my 1 year old French Bulldog chase the beam like a cat would. He loves it! I can stand on the front porch and put down a dot for him to 100 feet from me!He loves to chase it! Im not sure how long it would last on 1 charge since I use it 15 minute intervals. I've only charged it once and it's so easy. You just unscrew the bottom and plug the pen into usb port

This laser pointer is no toy. It's seriously powerful. It can pop inflatable balloons (especially dark, light-absorbing ones) within seconds of focused beam contact, and even ignite a match in about 10-15 seconds. That's impressive, but also a clear sign that this device demands responsible handling. It's not for casual use or for children. I strongly recommend keeping it stored safely and using it only with proper awareness. Great for presentations or experiments, but absolutely not a gadget to be used carelessly.

Very cool, everything it claims to be. I'm amazed. Better keep it out of the hands of kids though. It works great on my TV screen as a pointer, where as some I have tried did not work on a screen at all. Cool gadget for 20 bucks.

I have a need for a bright laser pointer. (I am a CDL instructor) And I use my laser pointer to do demonstrations and pretrip testing. I also use the laser pointer for accuracy when setting up the skills course where cones/ delineators need to be set up in straight lines. This laser pointer is all that I need it to be ( bright green and definitely visible in the daylight & RECHARGEABLE) it is a quality product and is easy to use. Its powerful and the battery lasts long. ( Between recharging) And I appreciate it and the company for being so quick with shipping. One thing I know is that anytime you drop one of these things on the ground, you have a risk of it never working again. So I have owned several of them in different makes and models. I like this one because it is easy to keep in my hand. I would love to see an auxiliary switch so you can keep it in your pocket without it going on and off every time you bump it. And a clip to make sure it doesn't go tumbling in my pocket would be nice. But they would probably cost more for the upgrades. This unit is definitely great enough.so thank you for your product!

This item is amazing. I am now trying to train my dogs to return to the house at night when cars approach. I had initially ordered it to indicate tree limb removal for a tree service on a couple of acres around our house. The beam proved so distinct and clear I thought I would work with the dogs like I have seen cats react to a similar light when shined in the area. I am using sort of like a pointer.It works well and seems like a good value for the price.

Just took it out of the box. USB charge port is bent already. The laser is bright though and it does charge even with being bent.
