Review: Denman Cushion Hair Brush (Medium)
The Denman Cushion Hair Brush (Medium) has quickly become a favorite, especially on greasy hair days! It helps distribute natural oils evenly, giving my hair a beautiful shine while keeping it from feeling weighed down. The soft, flexible bristles detangle effortlessly, and the cushioned base ensures a smooth and gentle brushing experience, making it perfect for both wet and dry hair. What really stands out is how much this brush reminds me of my very expensive English brush! It performs just as well, offering that same level of care and quality, but at a much more affordable price. The medium size provides excellent control, and the ergonomic handle makes it comfortable to use.If you’re looking for a brush that gives you shiny, healthy-looking hair and feels as luxurious as a high-end English brush, the Denman Cushion Hair Brush is a must-have in your routine. It combines value and performance beautifully!

it is a brush
I bought this brush because I discovered that the one I had been using for the past decade was growing mold inside of it. I mean, it is hollow on the inside, water gets in there, dandruff gets in there... I don't know why I didn't think there could be mold in there, but there was.Anyways, I decided that if I was going to buy a new hairbrush, it should be a cute one, and also an upgrade in quality. I went to reddit of course, and that is where I learned about these hair brushes. I guess they are a dupe for the $200 ones? I could not justify buying a $200 brush, because I work in a gas station, so I have no basis of comparison. What I can tell you is that this brush is definitely a brush. It brushes hair. My hair is thick, straight with a slight wave, and bleached. This works for me. I also like how it looks. It is more classic than your typical hairbrush. The one I just threw out was one of those black and turquoise Conair ones. It worked as a brush, but I never really liked looking at it. The Denman brush just feels like more of an aesthetic option. The bristles do feel more scratchy than the ones I am used to, but I don't think that is an actual product flaw, I think it's just because of the type of bristle they are.All in all, I like this brush. The medium is slightly smaller than I expected, I would recommend getting the large for a regular hairbrush size, but it is still fully functional, and I won't be returning it because I do not have the time or energy. Good enough is what I always say (insert thumbs up here)

Awesome brush!
Awesome brush! Leaves my scalp with a "clean" feeling, helps with frizz & flyaways, hair feels silky soft. Much better than other boar bristle brushes I've tried, as it actually penetrates beyond the top layer of hair. Not sure how it compares to Mason Pearson because I will never have $200 to spend on a brush lol .. but I'm very happy with this one for the price.

Good brush
I really like the brush. I just wasn't expecting it to be so small

Mason pearson dupe?
Good size and quality. Leaves my hair so soft. Idk if its the same as a Mason Pearson other than the look since I havent tried the Mason Pearson one. However, this leaves my hair so soft and shiny and feels very durable. I love the look it has.

Certainly NOT QUALITY
I cannot believe the Very poor quality of this brush! I have owned Denman brushes in the past and they were good brushes. Clearly that is no longer the case. I can literally count how many times I’ve used this brush, given I only do so a couple time a month at most. The brush causes the ends of my hair to knot because the bristles are so damaged. I can no longer use this brush! And if that weren’t enough, this is too small to be of adequate size to comfortably blow dry, which was my purpose for purchasing.

A very good dupe
I have the $200 brush that I will be returning since it had a defect (some of the nylon bristles weren’t the right length), so I decided to try this one out until my new one gets here. All-in-all, it’s a great dupe.My first impression of this brush is that, if possible, it feels even cheaper than my expensive one (which are notorious for feeling way too cheap for multi-hundred dollar hair brushes). You can see in the picture that this one is a bit lighter, but it doesn’t affect its performance. If there is anything that makes my other brush edge this one out, it’s the boar bristles. When I opened the Denman, there were a couple that were loose. They also look frayed compared to my other, which gives less space between the bristle clusters. I’d say that it is probably a tiny bit less gentle because of that. My other brush also came with a cleaning brush, but I’m sure you can get one of those from Amazon. As far as the feel on the head, they both reach the scalp and have the same stimulating effect. I get the same looking result from brushing with them, which is why I love my other brush. I get shiny, non-frizzy, smooth hair from both.If price weren’t a factor, I’d tell you to go with the other one. However, for saving about $170, you can’t beat this price and performance if you’re looking for the closest dupe.

Sharp bristles, smooth hair
Some of the bristles were way longer than the rest, you can see them sticking out. The bristles are sharp so if you brush near the scalp it might hurt a bit. I have thin hair but a good anount of it and it felt like this just brushed the top of the hair, requires more work to make sure all hair is evenly brushed. This did make my frizzy baby hairs look more neat. Not sure how long the brush will last but I will keep using it & update after some time.
