I purchased these for my 10 yo daughter to wear under her athletic shorts. She plays basketball and soccer and these provide full coverage and are very comfortable to wear (per her).

My daughter typically wears 8-10 and these are a snug fit with just enough give that she finds them extremely comfy. She said it's not even like wearing underwear at all! We might end up having to buy more pairs. We got these originally for cheerleading but she is a huge fan. Def keep an eye on sizing but otherwise A+!
