I highly recommend.
My 5 yr old loves these! She would sit for hours doing these and it is a good brain stimulant as well! It has definitely helped her with following directions all around! Highly recommend.

Great fine motor activity!
My students love this activity! I wish that there was a better storage system for the foam pieces, and that the book was spiral bound.

Would be much better if the blocks were plastic instead of foam
I bought this for my almost 3 year old daughter to learn and play with. We own a lot of Learning Resources products and most of them are really great, so when I saw this on a good sale I bought it without looking too closely into the material of the blocks. I assumed they would be plastic, but they are actually foam. I think the product would work a lot better if the blocks were plastic. The foam pieces are too light weight and also not consistent in their size/fit. Even as an adult with proper dexterity I have a difficult time putting together a picture for my daughter to see how it works. The foam pieces easily come out of place and this sometimes causes my daughter to lose interest more quickly because she isn't feeling the progress in creating a picture. I'd like to rate this higher because it's a nice idea, but the foam just doesn't work well enough.

Should have bought two..
It was a gift for a secret santa. But it looked really fun for a boy or a girl. My kid was jealous..
