Q: can i use this lather with an electric razor??

Absolutely. I have issues with bumps and ingrown hairs around my chin, and using this product with an electric razor is the closest I've come to eliminating the problem.

Q: Red vs green, is the red really better for coarse beards?

Both work well with tough beards in my experience. if you prefer menthol and want to use a matching pre shave, go with the green. if you prefer sandalwood and or don't like pre shave, the red is a bit better. Both are excellent products, especially for the price.

Q: do you have to use a shaving brush?or can you apply it with your fingertips?

Always use my fingertips, and I see no reason to stop. The brush is wholly unnessecary with this thick, smooth cream.

Q: Does this soap keep well in a dish, or should it be kept in the tube and squirted onto the brush with each use?

Leave in the tube, did not do well in a bowl or dish. Also takes just a small dab, lathers well with a moist brush.
